World's largest collection of Hudson, Essex, & Terraplane automobiles. Ranging from 1909 to 1956 the collection houses some of the finest examples of the autos produced by the Hudson Automobile Company. This outstanding collection of Hudson cars (and a few American and British built variants like the Essex and Terraplane) is probably the best collection of Hudsons anywhere. There are about 40 cars, a few on loan, but most owned and collected by one man. He has put together at least one car for every year of production and often specialized... More

Excellent museum with many many Hudsons from their very beginning to look at. Reasonably priced and and we had staff/owner who was walking around telling stories and histories behind many of the vehicles which really made the experience even better. You can get up close to the vehicles and see into them very well. Doesn't take a whole day to... More

Hudson went out of business shortly after I was born and I remember seeing them when I was a child, but I've never seen as many as are housed in the museum. The cars are beautifully restored and arranged in chronological order from the company's beginnings to its demise in the 1950s. This lets you see how the cars evolved... More

I love going to car museum's all over the place and it seems like a lot of them are in Indiana, Ohio and Michigan, which is lucky for me. This collection is really only Hudson, so you have to be a fan of this car maker to get something out of this collection which is about 40 cars. The cars... More

This museum is locally supported and represents vehicles made in the Shipshewana area. The display is easy to navigate and well lighted.

We stopped in with family during a summer trip. This museum covers the entire history of hudson motor company. Most all cars are still drivable and are maintained. We were greeted by a gentleman that knew everything there was about every car there. It was a great tour. They even have a Hudson Hornet! Entire family enjoyed the museum. Would... More

Hudsons and only Hudsons. This is a great collection very will displayed. Only thing missing was a stock car from the good old days of NASCAR.

A great collection of Hudsons and related cars (Terraplanes, Nashes) set in a clean modern facility in the center of an Amish Community. All the cars are worth seeing and taking pictures of. If you can get a guided tour - that is even better.

Wonderful museum with outstanding Murals! Right in the heart of Amish Country and nearly across the street from the Shipshewana Auction & Flea Market.

A must see for the car guys in your group. Very nice collection of some very unique Hudson automobiles over the entire range of their production years plus a few other makes tossed in as well.
