Owner description: Located in Santa Claus in southern Indiana, this theme park/water park combo offers families a great getaway with all sorts of perks. Did you ever think a theme park would give away soft drinks? And not charge for parking? Use of inner tubes in the water park is free and so is sunscreen and Wi-Fi! No wonder Consumers Digest magazine named Holiday World and Splashin’ Safari the Nation’s Top Value Park. With three of the world's top roller coasters (including the #1 Wooden Coaster on the Planet -- The Voyage!), a huge water park (including Mammoth, the world's longest water coaster) all kinds of live entertainment, visits with Santa, yummy food, shopping, and skill games, Holiday World & Splashin’ Safari offer loads of family fun all summer long!

Holiday World may be on the smaller side (and a bit in the middle of nowhere!), but it packs in some of the most outrageously fun water coasters and water slides I've ever experienced (including ones at the big parks like 6 Flags and Orlando water parks). The amusement park section is pretty amazing, too, but what really impressed me... More

We went the first week of July and stayed at the campground. Campsites are very close together, but quite nice. Our site was in the Dasher section on "Jolly", very close to the pool, the pool house (air conditioned!), toilets and showers. The bath house seemed fairly new and was really nice. It's also close to Blitzen's Kitchen with decent... More

This family owned park is one of the best in the world. Fantastic roller coasters, marvellous friendly staff and a fantastic water park. How can you not have fun. Also free access to soft drink machines throughout the park. There is even free sun cream available in the water park ( tried it once but found it too thick and... More

I have been here twice now, but this is my first review of this nice amusement park. The first time that I went was just the wife and I, the 2nd time was years later with our 2 children and my mom. Both experiences were great because this is a great family place with stuff to do for people of... More

Has to be the best theme park I have ever been to. Very, very clean with free pop filling stations and even sun block stations available. Well laid out areas and varieties of rides, activities. The water coaster rides have to be tried for the best experience on a hot summer day or ride the Voyage for the ultimate thrill.

An excellent choice for an amusement park. Holiday World adds a major ride every year and puts a large percentage of the profits back into the Park. Holiday World is a big park with a small town atmosphere. The owner greets people as they arrive and might be seen with a broom and pan cleaning the Park. Her philosophy is... More

Great kid-friendly event. Not too scary and not too crowded. Temperature was the worst part of the weekend!

We have been going to this park since before 2003. This park is close to us and worth the drive! We come back every year and will in further years! For all you get $40.00 is not a bad price. The staff is friendly and kind and you know what, nowadays you usually don't get that kind of treatment at... More

I love the fact that it is free parking and free drinks Food is also priced fair. I just wish they would stay open later. Like maybe 10 during the week and 12 on Friday and Saturday. I think they close way to early.

Visited Saturday, October 11th with three kids ages 10,7,and 5 and two adults. We arrived around noon and the weather was slightly cool (56 degrees). The crowds weren't that bad. The worst waits were for the spinning rides with low ride capacity like the scrambler, the flying eagles, and the swings. Roller Coaster waits never exceeded 20 minutes. The Legend... More
