The post office was closed when we went to visit, so not much to do, but I assume it was just like any other post office inside. It was neat to see the Santa statue outside. Provides a good photo op.

The Santa Claus post office is a quaint old building housed on the grounds of the Santa Claus Museum & Village. Kids can write letters to Santa & mail them. I think they receive a response back, though I'may not sure because there wasn'the anyone working at the time to ask. Either way, it'worth a visit!

Loved the experience. Beautifully done cottages. I found them pricey though, esp because they charge $25 for linens !!!

If you have small persons in your family, this is a must stop. You can have mail postmarked from Santa Claus! Anyone who loves Christmas will love this.

Stopped in here November 2014 to mail Christmas cards to my grandkids. Thought the Santa Claus postmark would be something different. When my daughter received the cards they were postmarked Louisville, KY. BIG disappointment.

Typical post office but with a Christmas feel. The Post Mark alone was worth the trip. They have some Post cards but definitely go to the Christmas Store or Santa Clause Museum for souvenirs. All in all it's a very small town so getting around is not a problem. Get out and well the shipping area. You'll be glad you... More

The most famous place on earth for young children. The town as a whole makes you believe even the young at heart.

Being from out of town....and trying to find out how the Santa mail works with a young child with was difficult for us...but the clerk obviously has been through this a lot and was great! Answered all our questions without any questions arising from our child. Thank you to the USPO and especially to their clerks in Santa Claus, IN!!!

I give this 3 stars because it means "average". Not for entertainment but because of what it is.... A post office. Nothing special. You get you mail stamped "Santa Claus".
