My husband and I enjoyed a flight of red wines with delicious wood fired pizzas. We especially loved the Zeus Cabernet. As part of the chocolate trail we received a complimentary samples of the chocolate raspberry dessert wine. A wonderful evening in a very friendly atmosphere.

The grounds of the Winery were really pretty with a small pond, fountain, gazebo, etc. The tasting room of was extremely small. I really liked how the wines were named after Greek Gods. The wine was ok, but not fantastic. I am accustomed to receiving small samples of the wine for free, but if you wanted to taste the wine,... More

Came over from Indy to try Brew Dawgs/JJs Winery. We ordered the pretzel, BBQ sandwich, and two beers (Pale, Oktoberfest). We did not have wine. The beers were tolerable, but not a lot of taste overall. BBQ pork was something you can get from your local Kroger deli. The cole slaw was bubbling (server said "that's because it has horseradish... This winery is located on a peaceful little pond and surrounded by beautiful landscaping. The outdoor seating is nice with great views. After visiting here twice, I would say their best offering seems to be the moscato slush. Food options include a really delicious salad, tasty spinach artichoke dip, fruit and cheese plate, a couple pastas, a BBQ sandwich, and... More

I live in Richmond and had never been to J&J until today. Dreary day and nothing else to do so hubby and decided to try it. Lovely place, tucked away in the trees. Tried a flight and loved the Zeus Cabernet. Two glasses and a wood- fired pizza later - and we are fans! What a nice way to spend... More

Wine was good but service was terrible. Was not even given a bag to carry out wine purchases in, wow. Non friendly staff too. First and last visit here.

My sister and I stopped here as part of the chocolate trail and to get some takeout for dinner. Sadly we arrived just as it got dark so we only got a vague impression of what looked like very pretty grounds. The outdoor patio would be great when it's warmer out. The atmosphere inside the tasting room wasn't what I... More

We enjoyed the outdoor atmosphere and soft live music of the back deck of the Winery. We also enjoyed the apple wine. The food is not elaborate but tasty. We would encourage people to visit the winery for a light meal and a wonderful atmosphere.

Very small little wine shop - nice outdoor deck - nice relaxing view... no tours or anything like that. A wedding was taking place - so that was interesting... excellent service and fun wine tasting... attractive and relaxing little venue. And about the only thing worth actually stopping for in much over-hyped and over-advertised Richmond! Every other place was CLOSED... More

My wife and I have come to really like visiting the Big Dawg Brewhaus, on the grounds of J&J Winery. The setting is gorgeous, and the people really make you feel like an old friend. Mike Miller is brewing some killer beers, and I always bring back a couple growlers' worth. The Saxy Blonde Pale Ale is a must have,... More
