Took the fam to the Brown County Playhouse to see their Winter Show, I Believe. When they performed Christmas music, they did a decent job. But for some odd reason, they mixed in a variety of Broadway tunes too. Phantom of the Opera just doesn't put on in the Christmas mood. Our favorite part was the first, where they showed... More

My wife and I were enjoying a long weekend in Brown County. Our first evening we were wanting to just relax and be entertained. The Playhouse had a movie scheduled that looked just right. So we bought tickets, early and went on a walk till closer to showtime. It worked perfectly. When we were ready we walked right in and... More

You can choose from a play to a movie it's what ever you choose, then you can easily walk to any restaurant you also choose!!! The wife and I picked Out of the Ordinary restaurant right across the street from the playhouse!!! The playhouse might not have all of the fancy things that the big city has but the wife... More

My wife and I have attended many plays and musical performances over the last few years and have never been disappointed! We recently attended three outstanding musical shows. Eric Brown and the L Street Band, performing the songs of Tom Petty, John Mellencamp and Bruce Springstreen! Then we saw thThe Origin of Rock and Roll and the third show was... More

Great place... never in before the Finger-style Guitar event... but it was awesome. The stage, audience seating, and sound quality... all great for this event. Looking forward to coming back for a movie sometime.

Gotta check into their offerings. Buy your tickets earlier in the day and go in the evening to enjoy the play. The productions are very professional, entertaining and many of the actors/actresses have gone on to become famous. Just a fun place to be!

Five of us went from Bloomington to see the movie Mr. Turner on June 13th. A woman in the first row used her phone 8-10 times during the show (including the phone's flashlight). There was no caution before the show about phones. I will not be returning.

The management of the Brown County Playhouse is very sorry to hear that you had such an unsatisfactory experience at the Playhouse due to the discourteousness of a member of the audience. We will insert a pre-movie slide asking audience members to turn off their phones during movies. Future movie goers can be assured that this will be done. Thank... More

If you are able to be in the Nashville area while "a Tuna Christmas" is playing, Go! There are only two actors, but their characters go from teenagers to old ladies and everything in between. The scene and costume changes are quick, creative and amazing! We loved everything about this show! We appreciated that foul language was minimal and the... More
