Each time we visit Nashville we say that we are going to go to this. On this visit we did. We didn't know what to expect. But we loved it!!! The show is about 20 minutes and one woman does the entire show. She is very talented. Just to watch her work the marionettes, making them dance, jump, etc. was... More

This week our group, Groovy Grannies from SW Ohio took a day trip to Brown County, Nashville Indiana. When I reviewed our schedule and saw at the end of our shopping we were going to see a Marionette show--my first thoughts were - OK, why not!! This little theatre in Nashville is a treasure and kept us spellbound for the... More

Loved this Halloween themed performance. We were three 50+ sisters and our mom. A nice 20-25 minute rest. A few light laughs! Enjoyed watching the interaction with the audience, especially seeing the children's smiles! Their seem to be few activities for youth, if I had young ones I believe that I would consider this show a must.

20 min. professional marionette show done outdoors. A wooden stage, wooden benches to sit on, free popcorn, shade cover overhead and $5. Enjoyable for adults and children. Performer is not behind the scene so you can watch her move the strings. She makes her own marionettes as her grandmother and mother did. Very nice lady!!! Hidden in an alley along... More

My hubby and I come every year and take our daughter to the slightly-spooky halloween show here. It isn't real long so it is great for little ones with short attention spans. We just love the atmosphere of the show. You also get a free popcorn with admission. At $5 a person/kid it can be expensive for a bigger family,... More

I took the grandchildren and we all had a wonderful time. The music and marionettes were marvelous. Very comfortable, informal setting. And only $5! It's a 20 minute show; no charge for children under 2.

This is a must-see when you are in Nashville, regardless of whether or not you have children. I am an actor by trade, and not inclined to applaud a sock, but that is NOT what this is. Peggy Melchior's theatre is a tiny space between buildings, and seems straight out of an old world fairytale. Trees form a leafy canopy... More
