I visited the small, but great Farmer's Market, here, today. I got a glimpse of some the other features of this historic, cultural, natural, & more, estate. The goods at the market were all local farm family products, a indication of the type of place that this place represents. The cultural, entertainment, historical & business events are many. One need... More

If you've never been-then you must see beautiful Minnetrista in Muncie. The scenic views and art are worth it. The only downer to the trip was that some of the people there are a little rude but it's not enough to put me off of ever going back.

We were searching for the Garfield statues and so we stopped here. There is a display about local lands and their history, as well as a market/gift shop area. The shop has some local items. Statues outside were interesting to look at. Only wish we were there during the spring or summer when the flowers would have been out.

Throughout my years at Ball State, by far my favorite spot to run has been in Minnetrista. It's well-lit at night, the grounds are beautiful, and the trails are ideal for runners. I used the Minnetrista trails to train for a race I ran in Battersea Park in London. Additionally, the farmer's market is also a great way to connect... More

Minnetrista has museum space, holds outdoor kid-friendly events (Faerie, Sprites, and Lights; Luminaria; Graden Fair; Farmer's Market; PBS events, etc.). Plus it is a great place to see nature. Walk through the garden and nature areas. You never know what you might find! A great place for the family to visit.

Muncie's Minnetrista Cultural Center hosts a farmer's market on Wednesday afternoons and Saturday mornings. It's part of our weekend routine to stop-in early on Saturday to make selections from the fresh baked goods, seasonal veg and fruits, bedding plants and flowers, and local meats, eggs, and even wine. While some bargains can be found, most items are at about grocery... More

The grounds around Minnetrista are beautiful, and it is interesting to observe the mansions which housed the Ball families.

The Minnestrista is nice to look at but it doesn't offer enough age appropriate events.Considering the location one would think it would offer more activites for people younger than 50.
