Enjoy the free bike rental program

Took advantage of the loaner bike program. Would bike for about an hour, stop for a picnic lunch and then return the bikes

We drove from Michigan to ride the Cardinal Greenways after reading about it last year. We so enjoyed the part of the trail that began in Sweester and ran to Jonesboro. Smooth ride, beautiful scenery! We loved the Mississinewa River and covered bridges! We heard peacocks at the bridge and followed it to a petting zoo! The trail is very... More

I wish they had something like this where I live. A long straight trail without the hassle of trying to figure out which fork would take you where. Watch the intersections.

This trail is 63 miles running from Marion all the way to Richmond Indiana, transversing some of the most beautiful farm land the corn belt has to offer! Is also passes through many Indiana cities both large and small. There are several trail heads for rest stops and passage to sleeping accommodations at periodical hotels and motels. Consult the website... More

We had not experienced the CARDINAL GREENWAY & THE ISLAND Cafe, so we arrived to see both. Parking in the Berkshire Hathaway LOT, (seems to be OK) we eased over to THE ISLAND, for a snack, & then hiked up the trail. There isn't a lot to see, other than nature, on the trail, but in town, there is more... More

Probably one of the best biking/walking trail in the state if not the country...it was one of the first trails built and PAVED from the start...it runs from north of Muncie, Indiana, to past Richmond, Indiana, following a train rail from C & O railroad.

The Cardinal Greenway is a paved trail that runs from Richmond, Indiana to north of Muncie, Indiana. The well maintained trail has several areas with ample parking to facilitate access. After living near Muncie for over eight years, I've yet to hear of any crime or safety concerns along the trail which adds another positive to the experience. All ages... More

The Cardinal Greenway is an asphalt paved rail trail from downtown Richmond to a point north of Muncie. It's a nice trail for a long, leisurely bike ride. Very flat except some slight grades at the southern 20 miles.
