The depot has a gift shop and sells maps for $2. The map is way better than the one online. We used the bike trails website in combination with trail link to plan our trip since we were coming from outnof town. If you have time get the one from the gift shop to figure out where to park. The... More

We had a great ride on a small portion of the Cardinal Greenway trail this morning. We started in Richmond and road to Losantville. It is a lovely trail that takes you thru tree lined sections, rolling hills, over bridges and thru the heart of amish countryside. Asphalt trail that is well maintained and the trailheads are very well maintained... More

This lovely trail that runs through eastern central Indiana is very well maintained and scenic. It runs through small towns and farm fields, along rivers and highways. The Muncie trailhead is a restored railroad station with lots of local information.

My husband and I just took our six-year old grandson on the Cardinal Greenway. He learned to ride without his training wheels this spring and was elated that he could ride five miles on the trail from the northern part of Muncie out into the country. The pavement is smooth and the grade is slight.

we stopped at the Greenway 500 bicycle shop to get our tandem tuned up, and we mightily impressed with the knowledge and service. The trail is nice, flat and the surface is in good condition, a good place to ride on a cold windy day.

Nice safe ride to bad it will get you lost around memorial drive or did I miss a sign? This is a well taken care of property and the trail goes on for miles and miles. Just remember that without a chase vehicle you have the same ride back so pace yourself.

This trail is an excellent way to stay healthy and to get rid of the "Freshman 15" at BSU. Walk, Jog, Bike.... it is all not just "cool" but encouraged, conventional and safe. This is a very beautiful and scenic area to enjoy. It is pathed and goes along the river through the downtown Muncie area, Minnetrista, Ball State University,... More

This trail goes both north and south of Muncie for about 50 miles total. I have not traveled the entire trail only about 30 miles of it. There are two portions I particularly like--the portion north of Muncie from McGalliard AV to Gaston. It is very scenic. There is parking on the north side of McGalliard right next to the... More

You can run, walk, jog or ride your bike and exercise without the worry of cars. It is a very nice way to see the beauty of Muncie and the surrounding cites.

Many uses. Very well maintained. Easy access. Scenery and nature abound. And it's a safe, quiet place to ride and walk. When the RR Right-of-way was abandoned several years ago, a few farmers between Gaston & Marion reclaimed their land rights and demolished the rail bed before the GreenWay came to be. I don't believe there was any malice at... More
