I regularly go running, walking, or biking on the Cardinal Greenway, Indiana's largest unbroken trail. This trail is well kept and wanders through farm country, woods, as well as city neighborhoods. Mile markers at every 1/2 mile inform you of how far you've come. There are trailheads where you can park a car (I'm fortunate to live only about a... More

The Greenway has always been pretty well kept up and tidy when I've walked. I like the scenery and lots of places to park your vehicle to go for long walks.

Even though it passes through the middle of the city it doesnt feel like it.....there are a few places where you cross busy streets, but its nice and quiet most of the way. Unique over passes and scenery along the way. Definately recommend for family walks or bike rides.

The Cardinal Greenway is great for biking, walking, and yes, even geocaching! I've taken my kids on certain stretches of the Greenway where several geocaches are hidden! We all ad a great time!

The depot has a gift shop and sells maps for $2. The map is way better than the one online. We used the bike trails website in combination with trail link to plan our trip since we were coming from outnof town. If you have time get the one from the gift shop to figure out where to park. The... More

We had a great ride on a small portion of the Cardinal Greenway trail this morning. We started in Richmond and road to Losantville. It is a lovely trail that takes you thru tree lined sections, rolling hills, over bridges and thru the heart of amish countryside. Asphalt trail that is well maintained and the trailheads are very well maintained... More

This lovely trail that runs through eastern central Indiana is very well maintained and scenic. It runs through small towns and farm fields, along rivers and highways. The Muncie trailhead is a restored railroad station with lots of local information.

My husband and I just took our six-year old grandson on the Cardinal Greenway. He learned to ride without his training wheels this spring and was elated that he could ride five miles on the trail from the northern part of Muncie out into the country. The pavement is smooth and the grade is slight.

we stopped at the Greenway 500 bicycle shop to get our tandem tuned up, and we mightily impressed with the knowledge and service. The trail is nice, flat and the surface is in good condition, a good place to ride on a cold windy day.

Nice safe ride to bad it will get you lost around memorial drive or did I miss a sign? This is a well taken care of property and the trail goes on for miles and miles. Just remember that without a chase vehicle you have the same ride back so pace yourself.
