This was a horrible experience!! We took our family there bc we grew up on lake shafer and loved going there growing up!!! There were millions and millions of these weird looking fkying bugs EVERYWHERE in the pools all over the slides in the lazy river and to the point on the main drag you had to literally run threw... If it wasn't for the water park area I would have given this a poor rating. I have been visiting this place since I was a child. This place is in need of lots of updates and repairs. My employer has had a company day there the past 3 years and I have gone each year. Each time we visit... More

We (my husband and I) went on Monday night after 5p.m. and was there for 2 hours. We were greatly disappointed in the lack of rides running. There was at least 6 rides not functioning properly in the park. The employees moral was down as well. I was greatly disappointed in the lack of response from the security team when... More

But so what, it's like 89 years old. I grew up in this place. My band has played there many times over the years and the place is a ball everytime. Floating the lazy river, riding the old rides, playing the games! Eating brunch in the Skyroom, eating a greasy corn dog, or an awesome taco, having a beer in... More

If you enjoy a 5 star redneck experience, this is the place for you! I like that we did not eat anything and avoided grease overload.

Went last weekend with my wife and two kids (9 &6). Will break this review into a few sections. Food, park and room. We got a room for the night at The Boardwalk motel, Motel Good: Location! On property and steps away from the closest ride. Nice to be able to go back to your room to cool off, use... More

We just got back from a three night stay 6/19-6/21. Stayed in penthouse #1 and still looking great after the upgrades several years ago. Lots of positives this year--new white privacy fence around hotel pool and overall pool looked clean. Piano player in the skyroom for dinner AND a singer Friday and Saturday night--very nice touch! ALL THE RIDES were... More

Indiana Beach is one of my favorite traditional parks in the whole world. Though situated in the middle of Indiana on a man-made lake, it has the feel of those pier parks on the East and West coasts. The park had been owned by the Spackman family for many years, and they kept the place in TOP NOTCH condition. A... More

After reading many of the reviews on Indiana Beach we had a lot of reservations about this trip to the beach. But our daughter had been begging us for this adventure for quite some time so we relented. It had been many years since we were last here. It is definitely in need of a face lift in many places....
