If you want great cheese you need to stop into the Deutsch Kase Haus. They have every kind of cheese imaginable as well as several they put together themselves (Salsa Cheese). You can sample all the cheeses and the prices are very good. If you visit at the right time you can watch them making cheese.

We really enjoyed the cheeses. There are samples to be tasted of almost everything, and very high quality craftsmanship. The one thing I had a problem with is that is was hard to move around and even though we were there in the middle of the week, it was really crowded and we were shoulder to shoulder with folks which... Loved the cheese samples. Being able to view the making of the cheese through the windows was very interesting. A must try is the grilled cheese sandwiches outside, just below the store. You are able to choose either Texas toast or Garlic Cheese toast, and you get to choose your cheese, as well. Delicious and very cheesy sandwiches. The garlic... More

So many samples of cheeses that you may have never tried before! The Garlic Cheese is amazing! First time we went I had expected the prices to be inflated, but actually they were less per pound than here at home a Kroger or Meijer. The have a viewing window for people to watch them making cheese, which is really cool.... More

Tons of samples and flavors of cheese. The ladies are helpful with advice and suggestions. Try them all. The salsa cheddar is great shredded over tacos. Don't forget the cheese curds!

In Amish Country, most places are extremely proud of what they sell, and their prices reflect it. But, the Guggisbergs have been around long enough to know that fair pricing is what makes a strong sales. The Guggisberg cheese recipes are great. And, the Cheese Factory gives out samples to ensure each guest finds the perfect recipe for their personal... More

This is a must if you are a cheese lover! On some days you can watch how cheese is made through a window in the store. Best part they have samples of every cheese they sell. We always buys lots of cheese and my favorite is the baby swiss :D Everytime we are in the area, we come here ;)

Rows of free samples. You can browse through some of the classics like mozerella and become hooked on the new, such as Swiss on Rye or Smoked Cheddar. And the prices are pretty reasonable.
