Small but wonderful;

Small public zoo has very reasonable entrance fee. More extensive than it appears.Some hilly walking involved.

Good place to take your family or spouse or kids whatever, they have spot to look at and I love that you can feed the goats. And it doesn't cost much to get in

We visit the zoo a few times a year and I was amazed with all of the changes since October. There is construction going on, but the improvements look wonderful. The animals all look healthy and happy and the place is clean. Don't base your opinions on larger zoos, this is a small zoo on the rise and well worth... More

I grew up in Michigan City and have fond memories of visiting the Park & Zoo and seeing all the animals. I was totally shocked at how the Zoo has been let go; the few animals that are left - habitats were embarrassing to see and to show to my family. I cannot believe how things were just left laying... Not only do they charge to park but also for entrance to the zoo. Zoo is small & not very clean. Even our children were not impressed.

We volunteered for "boo at the zoo" to hand out candy. It was loads of fun! Nice to see all the adorable kids dressed up for Halloween! Bring your kids for tons of fun.

Very clean zoo. There are not a lot of animals to see. The zoo is good for little kids. We went to the Boo at the Zoo and that was really nice.

Saturday was my first visit to the zoo since 1964, when I was five. I had been looking forward to coming back for some time. I remember I had a great time there 50 years ago and worried I'd be disappointed now that I'm old. No disappointment at all. The Boo at the Zoo event was Saturday, and I had... More

This was a last minute decision for us to stop here after a wedding we attending with famly at Lakeside Inn. We were with an 8 year old, 5 year old and 1 year old. What a great little zoo. The kids really enjoyed themselves. It's not crowded so it's great for the kids to be able to run around.... More
