My Grandson loved crawling through the lucite tube in the Otter Pond. The animals swam above him. He also loved hand feeding the Goats. The Monkey exhibit was a lot of fun watching the little fellows - watching us. The Bengals, and White Tigers especially, were pacing and appeared to need more space to roam. The Bobcat and Wolves were... More

Great place to visit, with or without kids. Great value for what you get. Literally, lions, tigers, and bears. All were active and very viewable. Had a fun time. Not difficult to walk through (I have COPD), gift shop was good, also.

This is a smaller zoo, but the low admission price reflects that as well. This zoo is ideal for smaller children who may not tolerate the 2-3 hour walk through a full size, large scale zoo. Although sidewalks throughout, this zoo has a very dynamic terrain (lots of hills) and may not be the most suitable for some. Zoo was... More

Spent a little over an hour at this zoo this week. Does not sound like much time does it? It was a great visit. This nice little zoo is full of up close animals to view. If you want to see hundreds of animals go somewhere else. But if you want a real good view of a handful of amazing... More

Small zoo but good quality and decent hours. Parking located at Washington Beach Park, could be a positive or negative depending on the day's plans.

Zoo is an exaggeration. Not much here. But price reflects that. My son lives to feed birds. That's basically why we went. It was clean. Nice way to spend some quiet time. Do it again? No. But it was a nice break.

We went to this wonderful little zoo a couple of weeks ago. It has a good variety of animals. I noticed they have made some improvements from last year. It looks like they were doing more construction. It didn't bother me. The rest of the zoo was just fine. It only makes me more excited to see the improvements next... More

We loved this zoo...small but great for the price. You are able to get very close to the animals. It did cost $7 to park but we stayed there all day because after the zoo we went directly to the beach which was beautiful! It was a great day!

Michigan City's Washington Park offers a wonderful zoo! There is an assortment of animals however our favorite are the White Tigers! The kids also enjoy the otters. You must make a climb up to the observation tower and then climb more stairs to the top and view the Lake!

A small zoo with a surprising assortment of animals and birds. Won't tire out small children. You have the ability to get relatively close to the animals!
