This cave was a surprise to me. It has many formations not found in other caves in abundance. Also the history of the cave is interesting. The old log buildings are plus, the mill is fabulous. If you take the zipline which is great, the cave tickets are free or reduced. The instructors on the zip line are great. I'm... More

This cavern was amazing during our visit. There was a lot of water flowing through at that time, several days after heavy rain. While the distance was short and formations avetage to good, considering the water/river that runs through it is is one of my tops.

The staff was very knowledgeable and friendly. We did a scavenger hunt while touring the cave and village. It was a fun learning experience because we had to answer questions at each stop. When you complete it, you get rock candy for free. My kids loved that. The cave has so much to see that it is worth going through... More

While vacationing this summer my family went on several cave tours throughout Kentucky, this is the only one we traveled across state lines to visit. Boy was it worth it. While most tours we were on were anywhere between 20 and 75 other people, this one was just our family. (My family included myself, husband our three children ages to... More

Wow! We feel very honored that our cave was the best you went to! It is small but it's so packed full of formations and streams. Thank you so much for coming and I'm glad you could catch us on a slow moment so you had the cave all to yourself. More

Wife and I visited yesterday. I was last there 24 years ago in 1991 in 4th grade. Tour guide Don was very nice and knowledgeable. Tour has changed some; starts in tour shop and down the stairs past the cemetery and to the waterfall. He said that some rocks fell a few years ago and due to insurance they can't... More

Beautiful cavern and a very thorough guide made for an excellent visit. Highly recommend for all ages. My 12 year old had some schooling without even knowing it!

Since this was the last weekend before school started we wanted to make use of a free ticket my daughter (7) got for a summer reading program. You can enter the village at 9am which we did, but nothing opens until 10. We walked around checked things out and took pictures. Our cave tour was one of the first with... More

A great way to spend a hot day. Nice facility. With the mill, candle shop, rock store, soap shop and the cafe there are plenty of other things to do before or after the cave tour.

We did the cave tour after the zip lining. Nice & cool since it was so hot outside. Tours leave every 1/2 hour so the groups are not too big. I believe they said there were 72 steps down to get to the cave. A spiraling stair case straight down! And you have to climb back up to get out.... More
