Park was beautiful and Inn was very accommodating. Staff was friendly and helpful. Food in the Narrows Restaurant is delicious and reasonably priced.

Trail 3 is by far the best trail this park has. the trail has creeks that you are walking in, steps made in the rocks, ladders to go up or down, and beautiful scenery. When we went we did trail 3, 5, 9, & 2. It was a slightly overcast day because it had been raining before we arrived, but... More

This was my first trip to Turkey Run and we will be back!! We hiked trail #3 and our kids loved the adventure, walking over rocks, through water, etc. What a beautiful place. It was very busy, lots of hikers on Saturday, but we went opposite everyone else (up the ladders, not down) and eventually found some peace and quiet.... More

You just can't go wrong staying at Turkey Run. They have made some improvements on the Campground since we have stayed - 3 years. There is always so much to do from the fantastic hiking to the fun, fun Sugar Creek to the Olympic Size swimming pool and this time we found a little pony named Blondie that we had... More

Our stop at the park consisted of a few hikes, on an overcast, blazing hot and humid day. As we hiked (trip #3, highly recommended) we proceeded across the suspension bridge and into a series of gorges and river beds. At one point we were in the bottom of a gorge surrounded by beautiful rocks and a thick, white mist... More

The scenery at Turkey Run State Park is lovely! The trees were full of leaves and the trails were well kept. For the $5 entrance fee it was certainly worth it! It would have been nice if the trail descriptions were more complete however. A member of our group had bad knees and even though we selected a "moderate" trail... More

Perfect place in the mid-west for some hiking with a real mix of trails. From the nice easy paved and gravel short loops to see historic buildings to trails through old growth forest (the trees we suspect are pushing 200' high, to boulder covered canyons to our favorite walking the sandstone stream beds in deep stone canyons. Mix in some... More

First time at Turkey Run State park so didn't know what to expect. The trails are well groomed but could be marked a little better. We went on the very rugged hike and it would be for a novice, lots of stairs and ladders to climb down. They denote the level of difficulty on the trail map which seems pretty... More

I went solo after being disappointed with the high fees at the Indianapolis zoo so I was in a bad mood to start with, but who could stay in a mood after walking through this park? The hikes were a little strenuous for this old guy, but I was prepared with proper hiking gear, snacks, water, and patience so it... More
