It’s not in the dictionary, but if it was, Go Ape would be described as a ‘tree top adventure’.That means we build giant obstacle courses up in the trees using ladders, walkways, bridges and tunnels made of wood, rope and super-strong wire, and top it all off with the world's best zip lines. We then equip people with harnesses, pulleys and carabiners, give them a 30 minute safety briefing and training and let them loose into the forest canopy, free to swing through the trees. Of course, instructors are always on hand, regularly patrolling the forests (not in monkey suits unfortunately!)The result is spectacular. The Go Ape experience gets the adrenalin pumping, gets people out of their comfort zones and above all (no pun intended), it’s just great fun.

I'd been zip-lining in south-central Ohio a couple of times but this was much different. I'd call this more of a ropes course than a zip-lining adventure. This one was more thrilling and a little frightening. Definitely more challenging!! It consisted of 3 courses (they have 4 but one was closed which disappointed me a little as we technically didn't... More

We did this activity for my son's 19th birthday along with his friends - it was a total hit, and an absolutely beautiful setting. The staff was determined to make the experience fun and exciting. There were younger kids in line in front of us that were very afraid and our guide just kept on encouraging them till they made... More

I did the Go Ape Treetop Adventure course as part of a teambuilding event with my work and it was a blast! I was afraid at first of having the navigate the obstacle course as well as the zipline, but with the encouragement of my teammates and the staff I made it through and had a blast! Would highly recommend... More

I'd like to say that while I had real fear in being so high up and panicked a bit that the staff helped me through it and I achieved most of it . It's demanding physically but it taught me to be courageous one of the staff helped me back and was so lovely to me even though I was... More

This was a fun adventure climbing around the treetops on platforms, manuevering crossings between trees, and zip lining back to the ground. You do the course on your own, but there are guides along the way to help or answer questions as needed. And, there is excellent training upfront to make sure you understand the safety rules and how to... More

We eagerly waited until my youngest was old enough for this adventure, and now that he is 11 years old, our family finally got to Go Ape! 2 parents, 16 yrs, 14 yrs & 11 years ALL had a blast! We went to the Eagle Creek, Indianapolis course on a lovely, sunny fall day. Our leader was Chris, he was... More

It was awesome. One of the coolest things we've ever done. It's great that we have a beautiful outdoor space, like Eagle Creek Park, right at our front door.

Wow, loved the zip lining but the rope obstacles were downright scary. The boards they use are treated lumber and today it was drizzling rain. That made the planks slippery and very intimidating trying to make the different rope crossings. Wish they had an option to just do the zip lining and forego the ropes.

Went with my husband as a birthday adventure. Staff was great. Instruction was giving in very concise and clear manner. We had never been so we're a little nervous but felt comfortable the whole time. While there are trained staff always in sight you have some privacy as well. You gain confidence as you go from the training site to... More
