This is the most complete urban state park we have ever encountered . We walked both sides of the canal from the parking garage at the Indiana State Museum to the dam and back, taking in the sights along the way. The flora was beautiful in various places, such as near the USS Indianapolis Memorial which was our most significant... More

I have been to the area a number of times and enjoyed each visit. The museums in the area and the canal offer a nice variety (as well as the baseball stadium, which I've never been to). A nice way to spend an afternoon or evening.

Beautiful! I haven't attended a concert here but I'd love to. The botanical gardens are very peaceful and lovely. They also have a wedding gardens which would be an ideal spot for a small wedding. Check it out!

NCAA Museum, Native American Museum, Zoo, bike rentals, paddle boating, or just relaxing on the grassy hillside watching the water flow by... a nice place to spend a day.

Spent the day in Indy while my son did a math contest. This was the perfect place to explore. Walked the paths and visited a few spots along the way. I wish our city had a place like this! Wish we had more time to do the paddle boats or biking.

This is truly an incredible park and whoever is running this park and the free music concert for the final four weekend did an absolutely incredible job! 100 portable toilets, great carnival like food and exceptional Soundsystem were the highlights!us people from Wisconsin even enjoyed interacting with the Kentucky, Duke and Michigan State people!

I love this open air concert facility. It offers a lot of flexibility for what groups can play here. I was here for a special event, but the Lawn at White River State Park summer series never fails to impress.

If you are looking for the best place to run, this is the place. Located near Lucas Oil Stadium, great park in the downtown area. Adjacent is the White River trail that spans more than 30 miles along with White River. Well marked with landmark signs along the way.
