I really enjoyed the tour of this house. It was about 1 1/2 hours long and very detailed. The main floor is filled with nearly all original Harrison pieces. Our docent was very knowledgable and could answers questions not just give a memorized speech. I was pleasantly surprised how much I enjoyed this tour.

This is a beautiful historical place. The gardens are beautiful as well. The docents are very good here. Some are from the local DAR. They are very informative. A lot of the pieces of furniture belonged to the Harrison family. The home is beautifully restored. It is easy to park in the Harrison lot or directly on the street in... More

I enjoyed my tour of this home. I was lucky that I came at a time when I got my own guided tour! I was able to speak to the tour guide more in depth, than you usually get during a tour. I learned about a president that I didn't know much about. It was amazing how many original pieces... More

Whether you are interest in the former President or not, this is an awesomely restored late 1800's house. Most of these historical old homes are filled with whatever old stuff they can find. Not this one, it is stuffed with period furniture, pictures, and things used in an upscale home of the period. The majority of it is from the... More

This is a privately run attraction, and is an intimate introduction to the 23rd president of the U.S. And the end of the Victorian Era. You ring the doorbell (it works!) on the half hour and get a one hour tour of the house, family, and late 1800's. Our guide, Melissa Calahan, a volunteer, was a gem. She is extremely... More

I was very impressed as soon as I was greeted by the volunteer tour guide and entered the house. The tour guide was very knowledgeable and answered our questions thoughtfully. It gave me a better insight of the many things President Harrison did during his term and the personal side of him and his family and how they lived during... More

Great for history or presidential buffs. Through the efforts of the society and the Harrison family most of the items in the house actually belonged to the Harrison's when they lived in the house which is somewhat unique. What made this tour really stand out was that it included 90 percent of the house and you walk through most rooms.... More

This was our first stop on our family vacation. The house tour is really nice - you get to go into more rooms than the average house tour. HUGE house and then there are the grounds and carriage house out back. Great tour. Very informative. We went from here to the grave site that was a few miles away. It... More
