We enjoyed walking around the zoo with our two year. They do a nice job with the exhibits. The playgrounds are nice too, and I was especially impressed that they had a one playground designed specifically for toddlers and early childhood (now, if they will just train their personnel to dissuade the dominating 8-10 year olds who invade it occasionally).... I first visited White River Garden shortly after it opened. Since then it has matured and the gardens have come into their own. The visit starts with a small visitor center that has an attached greenhouse. There was a butterfly exhibit when I was there. The glass house is small, but nice. The real attraction is outside. The gardens are... More

We always enjoy a walk through the gardens, especially in the spring when the tulips are blooming. We also love the butterflies.

Generally, I am so happy visiting the Gardens. This trip, not so much. First off, could not take the stroller into the Butterfly exhibit in the Conservatory. Realize because it is tight there but it was not easy carrying the grandson. Then, without it in the gardens was a real pain. Come to find out later that we could have... More

This was a hidden gem, located right next to the zoo. Beautiful plants and flowers in both indoor and outdoor settings. Lovely orchids. A great place for an afternoon stroll

We enjoyed watching the butterflies fly around us. The gardens themselves were kind of boring and not as colourful as I expected.

I'm not a big garden fan so the average may be unfair. It's a nice garden but there are many nice gardens if you take the time to notice them. This is one of them.

I love visiting botanical gardens and have been to a bunch throughout the South. This one just can't compare. It was surprisingly not well maintained in all areas, though some were parts were nice. It was also very small. I have been to some other city gardens that are so much nicer. I'm glad we stopped here after a trip... More
