The State Museum, Eitlejorg museum and the Zoo are all on the same campus with access to all three along the canal. The State museum hosts the original Ayres Tea Room which was a standard in the 60s and their original chicken velvet soup is still served there for lunch. Yes, get lost with all the exhibits, hands on, the history of Indiana is superbly displayed. The children love to see the animals when they walk through the Native American area

Had a nice conference dinner at the museum. It is a must see after the art museum. The canals behind the museum are very cool. The Lincoln room is a must see.

We love going here and are annual members. The changing exhibits are great fun and have a huge variety. They also have an IMAX theatre that is quite nice. Good value - but we always go across the street for lunch at the TGIFridays.

Had a great time exploring the museum after walking along the canal. It was cool how they tie in Indiana History to US and world history. Alot of historical artifacts and displays. Unfortunately alot of the museum is undergoing renovation especially in the Natural History part. Hope this is completed soon!

Absolutely loved being here. Visited the gift shop and cafe for an amazing sandwich. It was raining when I visited so I did not get to see much around the outside, or the little walk ways. Would definitely come back though. Good history on display!

This is the best place to see IMAX movies. Very comfortable theater, huge, you feel like you are part of the movie. The museum gives you a free parking pass for the movie! Will return often

Went with my wife and had a lot of fun. From the bottom to the top, this museum is really fun place. I loved the pop culture and the Native American sections. Children will love this place with its fossils and stuffed animals.

We saw the Jean Michel Cousteau movie at the IMAX theater and loved it! The new photo gallery was great as well as the Lincoln memorial.

Happened upon this museum. Will need to come back next year and bring our pinewood derby cars. They had an awesome set up with the track starting on the 2nd floor!
