Big place with Beautiful scenery. Nice trails. Lots of walking/hiking trails. We see 3-10 deer every time we visit. Lots of fishing areas. I would suggest visiting their on line web page prior to going so you can plan your day. Dogs are welcome. Picnic areas.

Eagle Creek is a beautiful park with plenty of trails for hiking & biking. They also have kayak & canoe rentals available during the warmer months. One of my all time favorite parts of summer is checking out the live concerts on the water on Wednesday nights!

This park is set in a good location, not far from the busyness of the city, and has many small roads to drive around on (which is a plus because the park is so large). Pedestrians had to walk on the side of the road, however, and we couldn't find any specific walking trails. Trying to find information on the... More

We just moved here. Looking for somewhere to swim with my 3 yr old. Heard eagle creek was nice. The beach was LITTERED with geese poop and literal garbage e-v-e-r-y-w-h-e-r-e. the grass was pretty much gone in some spots. The "grassy" area drops off to a quote on quote beach that is about a 3 ft drop and then about... More

This is more of a natural park. There is a huge body of water within the grounds for canoing or fishing. Take your bike and ride around the grounds on a few internal roads. Pask a picnic with someone special and enjoy a peacful day. Great for kids to run around without all the tech gadgets. The grounds are heavily... More

This is an awesome huge park in the middle of Indianapolis. This park is well maintained. This park is a perfect place to spend an entire day. The kids play area is well maintained and so are the pools.

This is a large park with lots of things to do. It has a Nature Center and an Ornithology Center, as well as a Marina and lots of woods and fields.

This was my first visit to Eagle Creek Park and I was mightily impressed. As others have already written, it is a beautiful green space in Indianapolis. I was surprised that there is a fee. I've traveled extensively in the U.S. and this is the first time I've ever seen a fee levied to use a city park. We had... More

Wow- Fall is a big time to visit Eagle Creek Park. Would like to try the zip line. We didn't have 3 hours to complete. The trails were not marked well, but staff said they are working on more markers.
