Eagle Creek Park is a nice area to relax, hike, bird watching, biking, you name it. So close to Indianapolis it gives you a chance to escape the busy city life. You can probably enjoy it any time of the year but fall seems to be the best season with all the colored leaves. The Ornithology Center is worth a... More

This is a very nice park with a few interesting things to do and see. However, compared to other parks I have seen it is certainly nice but not something that would captivate my attention all that much.

Eagle Creek is a beautiful park located on the Northwest side of Indianapolis. There are lots of hiking trails and a new zipline that is very challenging. You have to make reservations way in advance it is so popular.

Go Ape is the new zipline adventure at Eagle Creek Park and it is a blast! We took my father-in-law for his 70th birthday (he's in pretty good shape for 70) and everyone had a blast. The staff was helpful and friendly and the course was a lot of fun. I can't wait until my kids are old enough to... More

Beautiful park with lake and hiking trails. Amayzing to find this so close to downtown! Worth the 10 minute drive north. Don't miss this beautiful place. Leaves were at peak and it was so beautiful.

I have gone to this park most of my life. It is the third largest city park in the US and is easily accessed from two seperate gates 56th St and 71st St. They had a great Nature Center, and an Orinthology center. The hiking is great. The biking is great, and the fishing, and boating are, as well! If... More

A lovely park if you have time in Indianapolis. You can hike one of the many trails. You can rent several different watercraft: pontoons, sailboats, sailboards, kayaks, paddle boats. A fabulous family place. Great for picnicking too. They also have a place to rent for weddings. I haven't been in it, but it does overlook the lake. You can sit... More

Discovered this park when I participated in the Go Girl Indy Triathlon. Seems like there are a lot of paths for biking, and running/walking,with shade and small ponds.

We recently attended a family function in the shelter area of the park. I have no complaints about the location, there was a little park right there for the kids, but we were surprised to see that the little building that we thought were the restrooms had the door knobs removed and locked up tight. And then we saw the... More
