If I lived in Indianapolis, I would purchase a yearly pass for this park in a heartbeat! Swimming, running, biking, hiking, you name it, it goes on here. Well-maintained, safe, scenic...everything you could ask for. If you do bike, be careful. There are a couple of very sharp turns, one of which is at the bottom of a hill. The... More

Went there to watch the Big 10 rowing regatta that my daughter was competing in. Thoroughly enjoyed the park, a great place for the whole family to relax in.

We didn't really use the park much as we went mainly for the purpose of the Go APE ropes/zipline course but it looked great. Saw it had a beach area as well. We definitely recommend the GO APE course for beginners and people who have done it before. Takes a few hours so just plan on that but excellent pathways... More

One of the largest city parks in the country. There is always wildlife and interesting fauna in the park . The trails thru the woods are outstanding

This park has everything from beaches to hiking for an enjoyable day outdoors. We spent some time here hiking and appreciating the various lakes and ponds.

I guess I was expecting a lot more. Don't get me wrong there is plenty to do, but we were really only looking for a nice playground for my 6 year old. We found two but neither were that great. The whole park seems a bit run down which is surprising since it costs $5 to get thru the gate.

Big place with Beautiful scenery. Nice trails. Lots of walking/hiking trails. We see 3-10 deer every time we visit. Lots of fishing areas. I would suggest visiting their on line web page prior to going so you can plan your day. Dogs are welcome. Picnic areas.
