I am a fan of this park overall but it really is not the best place with it's poor infrastructure. It has poor bathrooms other than the new beach house. The roads throughout the park are in poor shape. The park is fee based. It would really be nice if they would reciprocate with the state parks but they don't.... More

If you want to kayak, swim, hike, or anything outdoors, this is the place for you. We kayak in particular but we are going to try hiking the trails next season. Great for families and couples of all kinds!

EAGLE CREEK PARK used to be the largest county park in the Nation. Lots of well marked trails and not a lot of people. Love walking my dog here. We like the loop around the lake with all the birds and wildlife. It cost $5 to get in if you live in Marion County or $6 if not. such a... More

We bought a yearly senior membership which allows us unlimited entrance to the park throughout the year. It's a bargain! Beautiful park! Birds, deer, trees, flowers, big reservoir lake, boating, fishing, swimming in summer, hay rides in the fall, Christmas decorations, cross country skiing, Go Ape zipline, New Discovery Center, Onithology Center,,,,well, anything everything abou the nature! You can sink... More

Seriously I went for a sneaker hike with the kiddos and I got my first intro to duck doo doo. I could not figure out what it was at first, because it looked almost like human or dog doo doo. Beautiful and relaxing scenery otherwise.

We love Eagle Creek Park! It's so nice to have such a large, natural space within the city. The hiking trails are great with options that go through the woods, through fields or around the water and the scenery from every trail is beautiful! They also have a swimming beach and canoe/kayak rentals if you prefer to be in the... More

This is by far my favorite park. It is huge with a little bit of everything. As you would expect they have trails and roads and everything else to walk hike bike or otherwise enjoy. They also have a great fitness trail with exercise equipment along it. They also have a great Marina where you can rent Bikes or Boats.... More

Eagle Creek is such a great afternoon get away when you feel the need to get out of the city and back to nature. We always park by the bird observatory and there is a great trail that winds around the reservoir. Eagle Creek is especially beautiful in the fall and summer, but we have been there in all seasons.... More
