This is the place in Indy to see! This place has history, blues, live music and great food! Usually they have 2 bands playing, if you don't like one see the other. It is a must do or bucket list if you like!

We hit Slippery Noodle Inn for after-party cocktails and entertainment following our friends' wedding reception. What a fantastic time! Our group grabbed a table near the stage where a blues band was jamming. The staff was quick to assist us and our food and drinks were great. Seating a'plenty, typical bar food but tasty, nice drink menu. The best part... More

We asked our server for a tour, knowing that the building had been around since 1850. He gave us a good 1/2 hour tour taking us into the area that used to be a brothel and into the narrow creepy basement. I love learning about the history of places I visit so that made my time there even more enjoyable.... More

Went here on a weeknight and they had open stage night. A number of good blues combos and no cover. Reasonable beer selection. Nothing fancy but good music and a lot of fun

We stopped in for a drink and to listen to some blues! 5.00 cover at the door and 8:30 band on stage. We headed to the back as this bar is sort of a maze with several different room/ areas. We were in the back had a good seat to hear the band. We had a great bartender who was... More

Very disappointed in this place. The people were very nice, but the food and service was awful. The atmosphere was so worn out and gross. The only decent thing about this place was the beer selection (why it got 2 stars instead of one).

What a neat experience. The weekend we went up was ncaa tournament weekend so it was really hard to get into this joint for the night life but we went back during the day they had an extensive menu but we did not eat. Drinks were responsibly priced; the place was lively though for being early afternoon. Souvenior prices were... More

We visited Indiana's oldest bar on a Friday night at 10:00 for a drink after dinner. We waited a few minutes for seats and ended up sharing a table with two nice younger guys. We enjoyed the band and the company. The guys at our table told us the bigger stage was in a room down the hall, and the... More

We went here on a Saturday night. They had 2 blues bands playing. The cover was $5. The music was good, people friendly, plenty of seats and the drinks were inexpensive. Looking forward to going back to it the next time I am in Indy.

we had lunch here and found kind and friendly staff, great big platefuls of home made food, excellent real beer from craft brewers and a lovely atmosphere...all's well!
