I have to admit that if I have an excuse to travel to Indianapolis.... it's secretly just so I can go to this bar. I love the music, the laid back atmosphere, the food is decent and served late, and the drinks aren't terribly expensive.

Sat outside to enjoy the sounds of the city. The Slippery Noodle is on a busy corner, right around the corner from the football stadium. Saw two different blues groups in the evening. The employees were very friendly. Fun atmosphere. Prices were reasonable.

Some of the greatest blues bands I have ever heard. We go to the Noodle every time we are in town. I have never heard anything but great music there! Th4e bands always keep the crowds entertained and lively!

At least I did. Located very close to Lucas Oil Stadium and our downtown hotel, we just stumbled across the Slippery Noodle and thought it looked interesting...and it was! It's a rambling sort of establishment with multiple rooms that made me wonder just what the proprietor had in mind when building the place out. We wandered all the way to... More

My wife and I visited this location earlier this month (August). We came in late at night, and the place was hopping. Live blues, great atmosphere, and a historic building. Took a bit of time to be served, but not too long, and the waitresses were attentive...though clearly busy. One of our waitresses allowed me to go into the back... More

We stopped here just to have a few drinks in the afternoon since it had been raining outside. We sat at the bar and just listened and watched all around. Staff was bye good and we had nachos which were good and service was fast. Staff were very busy. Our bartender even went out to tables behind serving window and... More

This is my idea of a history lesson...complete with beer! Tony at the Omni Hotel arranged for four of us to visit the Slippery Noodle and get a private tour. A great experience and the manager who conducted the tour was most gracious and knowledgeable. The food was good too. Definitely a place to visit.

This is the place in Indy to see! This place has history, blues, live music and great food! Usually they have 2 bands playing, if you don't like one see the other. It is a must do or bucket list if you like!

We hit Slippery Noodle Inn for after-party cocktails and entertainment following our friends' wedding reception. What a fantastic time! Our group grabbed a table near the stage where a blues band was jamming. The staff was quick to assist us and our food and drinks were great. Seating a'plenty, typical bar food but tasty, nice drink menu. The best part... More
