I found this joints draw wasn't the music. Yes there was blues and/or jazz happening in several different areas. Yes it was good. However, after the music stops is when i've found this place to be a world traveler meeting place. Had great conversation with many individuals and groups. Go for the music and and enjoy the intelligent social conversation... More

The Slippery Noodle is a fantastic place to spend with friends and listen to the absolute best Blues music anywhere in Indy. Saturday night is awesome, but you need to get there early if you want a good seat in the back. 7 PM is a good time frame. Good selection of appetizers available, as well as any type of... More

Best blues venue outside of Chicago able to accommodate 2 bands in opposite sides of the building. Friendly midwesterners, good bar food with homemade potato chips and excellent music. What more do you need?

This was my 5th or 6th time here. Each and every time I was overwhelmed with the quality of Blues Bands that they have there. A great place!

This is our 3rd trip to Indy from Iowa. We have stopped at the Slippery Noodle every time. It is always a great time! Make sure you read about the history of the building! It is very interesting.

This building is near downtown and close to the Lucas Oil Stadium. The building goes back to the 1800's. Some believe that it might have been a station on the Underground Railroad. And some think that it was a speakeasy during Prohibition. ANYWAY it is a great place with fine food, drinks, and music. If one is staying downtown, this... More

Have wanted to go to the noodle for sometime. I wasn't disappointed. Good music, blues kindred spirits & much singing and laughter. Internationally know. Met locals, folks from Maine, Florida, Michigan and Missouri. Indiana's oldest bar, since 1850! Very fascinating history.

Nice place for a great lunch in the day time after dark the live music is wonderful. Cool old building with a lot of history. Ask to see the bullet holes in the wall from thirties gangsters. Just don't ask on busy nights. Stop here every time I come to Indy.

The music at this venue is wonderful. It is a quirky building . It has been a bar since 1850. Fun atmosphere. The tables are tiny and very close together. My husband had difficulty getting comfortable in his seat since the guest behind him would not slide his chair in. I was not interested in another drink so I ordered... More
