This park has a lot of nature and a large place for kids to play. Of you want to hike or just relax. With a river going through the park it is a great place to just sit and read a good book.
While this park is centrally located, it allows you to feel as though you are miles away from the city. There are great, short trails that take you through the woods and down to the river. There is also a lot of open park area for kids, pets and families to run around. And finally there is a playground area... More

There are beautiful paths through the woods leading to the White River, and BBQ's. Also there are playgrounds with imaginative equipment, and artsy-faux ruins. There is a nature center for a rainy day as well, and it's all free. It's a great park to spend an afternoon.
We've hiked, played on the fantastic playground, and attended multiple nature programs at Holliday Park. We're always so happy we've gone. My kids love it.. To think I grew up in Indianapolis and never knew.
