What a gem for Indianapolis. We have had season tickets for many years. I couldn't think of not having live theater. IRT, thanks for all you do.

I have lived here all my life and have been going to this theater for years. If you are visiting Indy be sure to check out what is playing. They consistently produce high quality shows that may just thrill you! We attended The Games Afoot this year and again we were really impressed! The IRT is located in the middle... More

The IRT offers a high quality theater experience in a beautiful setting. I've seen professional theatre on 3 continents, and the last IRT show I saw - The Game's Afoot - had one of the best sets I've ever seen. Great!

We just got to have a wonderful night with another couple to see this play, and (as usual) the set and actors were amazing! The building itself is gorgeous, so get there early to have a drink and wander around upstairs. I should have booked our reservations earlier, so I was a bit concerned about the location of the seats,... More

The building itself is worth visiting for its over the top interior - it must be a cousin of Harrods London! Great theatre company of top end professionals; highly skilled team of light, set, costume and production workshops.

We live just South of Indy & enjoy an occasional getaway to downtown. The spark for this trip was a discount offer for tickets to see "The Game's Afoot" Buying the tickets over the phone was simple & the agent was friendly. After dinner at Prime 47 (see my TA review) we walked the 5 blocks to IRT. The theater... More

Good sound in the place and fairly intimate setting. Typically have a very fine cast. Recent Kurt Vonnegut play was enjoyable. Going back. YOu might try parking at Circle Center mall across the stree to save some money on parking.

I have been to numerous shows, on both stages, at IRT. It's a grand old theater with beautiful architecture inside and out. I have yet to find a bad seat, you can see the stage well from all angles. The cast and crew always put on a winning performance and you can really see that they give it their all!... More
