Taste Indy Food Tours is the Indianapolis metropolitan area's source for food tours, culinary events, pub crawls, and corporate team building events that bring together history, architecture and cuisine in a variety of different venues and historic neighborhoods. Our Food tours and events have been featured in numerous magazine and newspapers, including The Wall Street Journal, USA Today, the Indianapolis Star, the Washington Post, the Boston Globe, The Baltimore Sun, and Bon Appetite Magazine. The circle city is undergoing a culinary awakening; Indigenous cuisine mixes with progressive, while authentic ethnic enclaves continue to grow in number. The heart of the city, fully rejuvenated, teams with excitement, nightlife, and fantastic dining options. We want to open your mind and palette, show you the architectural highlights, and recount the rich history Indianapolis has to offer.

We received this food tour experience as a Christmas gift, and were not disappointed, though we were a bit surprised that just 2 of the stops were actually on Mass. Ave. We had entire plate of food at the Rathskellar Restaurant (bring your appetite!!), a mini tour of the James Whitcomb Riley house, a visit to Lockerbie Bar for beer... More

We received this as a Christmas gift and some friends joined us for a weekend of fun in Indianapolis. The tour was sold out and we weren't sure what to expect, but we needn't have worried. The group of 13 quickly got to know each other. Our guide Dani was friendly and knowledgeable, and was attentive to everyone. Do not... More

The tour itself was great and our guide was wonderful. Everyone was super nice everywhere we went. If you do not like German food .. Keep that in mind. We did try lots of neat things and got a great history lesson. (I only marked this as average because we didn't like the German food - so if you do... More

The Indy Food tour was tons of fun on a Saturday afternoon. We added the drink package as part of the celebration for our daughter's birthday. Amy our tour guide was very knowledgeable about the Mass Ave area and the restaurants. She offered lots about the history and architecture, but provided the perfect mix of fun and information. We loved... More

I did this tour alone, but not for long, as the other two couples became fast friends! Molly the tour guide was a lot of fun and very informative, and was patient as we were all chatting and made the tour run over time! Don't eat lunch before this tour (it starts at 3pm) - because there is a ton... More

Our group of 8 adults had a wonderful experience at three unique restaurants (Bakersfield, Barcelona Tapas, Chef Joseph). Our walking guide was wonderful and very knowledgeable of the area and its architecture.

We participated in the Mass Ave Food Tour for a bachelorette outing. Prior to the tour every staff member I encountered was a joy to work with (even fun to work with) and so willing to cater the experience to exactly what we were wanting! The evening of the event our group was a mixture of girls, both Indianapolis natives... More

My husband and I received the Mass Ave Food Tour as a gift and now we can't wait to buy it for others! Visiting four local establishments on our walking tour, we found the food to be delicious and plentiful. Our fun and informative guide, Tia, entertained us with historical facts as we saw beautiful architecture along the way. A... More

Stumbled on this site while looking for some fun for a suprise party I was hosting for my daughter's 25th birthday, with a group of sassy but sophisticated young professionals joining us from all over the midwest. Our 3.5 hour Appetizer Crawl was the perfect vehicle to enjoy the city and the food of Indy during crummy weather. Taking into... More

I initially contacted Taste Indy Food Tours from a referral through Visit Indy. Wow, what a great referral. From the time I contacted the group all the way through the tour we were given excellent service. The tour for the group I was escorting was made just for them. Mallory made suggestions that were fabulous. She made sure that I... More
