I went to service on Sunday. What an amazing mass and choir. I was glad I decided to go. The church was so big. Its a must see when in town. I am an Episcopalian from a very small church in New Jersey. I was so appreciative of this service, the choir, music, was fantastic. Very uplifting.

This church is very cute from the outside. Wasn't what I expected on the inside. The organ is gorgeous and the stain glass is beautiful. Worth stopping for two minutes to look inside.

It feels strange to review a church! This site is an active church, an active part of the community, and a part of Indianapolis history. The sanctuary has an intimate and historic feel to it. I can imagine past generations praying in here. NO this is not my congregation nor even my religion. Check out the stained glass. Hear the... More

Just steps away from the Starbucks, the Episcopal Cathedral was built in 1857. Designed by the Irish architect William Tinsley, it is in the neo-Gothic style, designed to resemble a Medieval Parish church. The church provides a self-guided tour booklet for the building and the artwork which explains the symbolism and provenance of the various elements you will see. In... More

This church is off monument circle. We have a Christ Church in Houston so being an Episcopalian I was interested. The church was founded in 1837 while the Houston church was 1839. So a close link to a place I know well. While the stained glass windows may or may not be Tiffany , these windows are stunning. Plus in... More

The church is as beautiful on the inside as it is on the out. If you're on the circle and the doors are open, step inside. You'll be glad you did.

Visiting various churches and cathedrals is an interesting past-time. This one was beautiful and in good condition. My daughter really enjoyed the visit.

In town and walking the Circle. Decided to try a church service. Not our religion, but we were welcomed and participated. Beautiful Gothic church in very middle of Downtown.

This is a beautifully restored and maintained cathedral which is definitely a city treasure. It is located directly across the street from the famous Soldiers and Sailors Monument so it is easily seen and accessible. Everyone visiting Indianapolis ought to plan to pay a short visit. We happened to be in town for the church's annual fund raiser called the... More
