A bit pricey for a small hometown zoo.....admission could be lowered a few dollars. Great animal exhibits.....
Great exhibits and interactive fun for kids. I've been to several other zoos when travelling and this place knocks them out of the water!
One of the top zoos in the United States, it is not so large as to make the visit daunting for young children. The variety of animals is great, with most being in natural habitats. They have an African veldt where you can take a tram from side to the other, and get up close to the giraffes and feed... More
We almost didn't go that day due to coolness & threat of rain, but my daughter, son-in-law, 2 kids, myself & another daughter decided to visit the Ft. Wayne Children's Zoo last summer anyways & had a great time! The kids, ages both under 3, enjoyed it very much. Most animals were very visible possibly due to a cooler summer... More
A world class zoo in a small town atmosphere. You can spend a whole day, watching animals like the Orangutans or floating on a dug out past the kangaroos and black swan. Plenty of gentle rides for old & young. Plenty of animals in their natural habitat yet close enough to enjoy. Be sure to see the aquarium and the... More
This zoo is rated in top ten in United States. It is so big you should take two days to show smaller children. To see entire zoo it takes at least six hours. They have just about every animal there is and water tanks for sea creatures. There are train rides, sky Ride, Water Log Ride, horseback ridding .
The zoo is a great combination of animal exhibits, activities, hiking, and generally fun for the whole family. It is divided into sections, so if you don't want to do the whole zoo, you can just do a section or two, and still have a great experience. The areas are: Africa Safari (with a giraffe feeding station $, open grasslands,... More
You will love our zoo!! It is small enough to do in a day and lots of fun activities for all ages!! Be sure and visit the Veldt where you can feed the giraffes and ride the ski lift. :-)
I love this Zoo. It's a wonderful place to spend the day, walking thru the exhibits and viewing the animals.
this is a great zoo. Not too big that its exhausting. The best time to go is as soon as its open, especially to feed the giraffes.
