The FW Museum is so nice. They always have events that show case the community. They do a lot of Cultural displays that can involve the whole family. It is a very nice museum. I feel that the museum is a little small so you will see it quickly.

I went with my daughter's second-grade class visit. A temporary exhibit called "Freedom Riders" was on display and I could have spent hours viewing all of the artwork/mug shots. It was something I had heard about a long time ago and didn't know much about; so it was very touching to see the mug shot art and put yourself back...

I really enjoyed the museum. It's been quite a while ago and I'd like to return again when in Ft Wayne.
This is a hidden treasure of Fort Wayne!! Well worth the visit to see international, national and local artists.
This is a very nice small museum with special artists and exhibits through out the year. A gem for Fort Wayne!
It's sad to think about it in comparison to Indy's Museum of Art. I mean, I don't think I would tell visitors of Fort Wayne to come here. I'm not saying its bad but I certainly don't think it's great. I usually go abut once a year, when they have special events with a cash bar. I actually like College...

Besides the permanent and temporary exhibits, FWMA has a yearly Day of the Dead exhibit which allows the community to get involved. This past year quite a few Hispanic families in Fort Wayne contributed. The gift shop has a lot of fun items for sale.
There were a few pieces that made us stop and think, and a few that I still remember. But there were also a lot of pieces that were made by talented artists, but were really not that interesting. It's worth a trip on a free day, or even worth a few dollars. But don't expect to make a day of...

I am turned off by some of the stuff considered art today and the Fort Wayne Museum of Art is no exception. As you approach, there is an iron monstrocity that sits out front that only reminds me of the waste of dollars, both private and public that go to support someone who is sitting on a beach enjoying the...

Nice artwork and displays. A bit stuffy, but ok to kill some time for an afternoon. Only went a few times, and it was enough as they do not seem to change much artwork.
