Drove into Fairmount on a pretty Sunday and it is like going back in time. Very quiet almost deserted town on a Sunday. But it gave me a wierd feeling I cant describe knowing that James Dean came from such a small town and skyrocketed to fame. The museum was great and then riding by his old house and cemetery... More

Loved my visit to the James Dean Gallery - wish I'd had more than an hour to peruse this largest collection of James Dean memorobilia in one place! Movie posters (for viewing and for sale), photographs, report cards, high school play playbills, and just tons of other stuff! Some great T-shirts I haven't seen anywhere else and all sorts of... Got there just as it was opening for the day. It was a great tour. The proprietors are so knowledgeable. It was so nice to remember life in the simpler times. So glad I decided to stop.

This really is a magical place that hearkens back to the simpler times and gives great insight into what life was like in a place where time seems to stand still. Hospitality at the gallery is second to none!

The proprietors, David and Lenny, are the warmest, most knowledgeable hosts... The James Dean exhibit is powerful and obviously put together with great care and compassion... The adjoining retail space "Rebel Rebel" is a wonderland of fun... plan on spending a good amount of time there...

Such a large collection of James Dean memorabilia that it is really hard to see it all...I couldn't focus on every little detail because there is so much to take in. You need to visit lots and often to make sure that you really see everything. Very well displayed items.... Great gift shop. ...Wonderful friendly owners...very informative and helpful...Must see... I went to the James Dean Gallery on December 13th, 2011. A day I'll never forget! I've been a huge fan of James Dean since I was 12 years old and have always wanted to visit his home town. We travelled all the way from Dartmouht, Nova Scotia, Canada. The James Dean Gallery has so many items that any fan... More

Tons of memoribillia for the avid James Dean fan. He grew up just down the street and people here actually remember him. At least some of the older ones do!

As we strolled up the sidewalk towards the door of the James Dean Gallery, we were excitedly greeted by curator David Loehr’s friendly young pooch Cleo. Her boss, a quiet New Englander and graphic design graduate also came forward to say hello and welcome us to the Dean Gallery and what is the largest private collection of Dean memorabilia in...
