Located in an old home on Main Street, James Dean Gallery is a place you will surely want to visit. Established in the 1980's (I think), the owners, David Loehr and Lenny Prussick have collected a huge amount of James Dean memorabilia. The gift shop has a lot of interesting items as well. You won't find any bigger "Deaners" anywhere.... More

Don't miss this charming, and extensive, gallery- completely devoted to James Dean fans. This is an oasis for all fans, and the nadir for Deaners. You could spend hours viewing the collection.

I have always been a Fan!! James Dean passed away 9/30/55 & I was born 9/30/55. Being raised in Anderson, Indiana, I went to the Gallery more than once & always always bought memoriabilia. I have a Collection room of James Dean & never get tired of looking at it. R.I.P. James Dean

I've been a fan of James Dean for 4 years (I'm a young fan) and I absolutely loved this place! The men who run it are very nice, talked to us and helped us take pictures outside! The gallery has mostly knick knacks and memorabilia but they did have a lot of personal photos of Jimmy's youth and they even... More

If you are a fan of James Dean or just nostalgic for the mid 20th century, a visit to Fairmount and this museum is a must. There is much in Fairmount that is very similar to the way it was in the 1950's (unfortunately, not the high school) and it is very easy to immerse yourself in all things James... More

Fairmount Indiana is a little out of the way but the James Dean Gallery is a MUST SEE for cinema buffs especially. The road trip from Chicago actually gives you a nice perspective on what a "small town kid" James Dean was. The town is practically unchanged, almost "Mayberry". The people at the Gallery are welcoming and enthusiastic fans of... More

The entire town and surrounding areas are wonderful. Be sure to go the James Dean Gallery and his gravesite. This town is a must see. Try to go during the James Dean Festival in late September.
