I have been in many casinos. I will not repeat this. The smoking in the casino was a complete thumbs down. Black Jack was only in the smoking area. The non-smoking area was at the bottom floor of the casino. You literally had to travel through 2 smoke filled floors to reach the non smoking area. Hmm, wonder why the... More

Nice casino but kind of dark and seem to always donate- seems pretty tough to win anything even your money back you put in .

This place is the worst of the worst! I can honestly give this review because My wife and myself have been patrons of this casino for the last several years, on a weekly basis on Saturday nights. When it first opened it was called Casino Aztar, we had tried it once in the beginning and did not care much for... More

Smoke, smoke and more smoke. One non- smoking floor that the broken elevator did't go to, so walk the tight sheep stairs and smoke could still be smelled. Tight slot machines, minimum table games and did I mention smoke, no give-aways, no excitement as casinos usually provide. I know the scheme behind casinos and I know losing is part of... More

Everything was good until we reached the actual casino and were overwhelmed by how smoky it is in there. I understand that as a casino you have to cater to the patrons but it was tough to spend a long amount of time in there with so much smoke in the air. Things really took a turn for the worst... Fun riverboat casino atmosphere. A decent amount of slots, but the table games are a bit limited, depending on your preference (my fiancee likes roulette and there are only 2 tables). The first floor is non-smoking but it still smells like smoke. The dealers are not overly friendly in general, but we did find a few exceptions. Fun place and... More

The "boat" needs to be taken out and sunk in the river as a fishing reef. Seriously, smoking in a casino in this day and age? Slots are tight. Table games are just carny games designed to seperate you from your money (high payouts look good, odds are poor). Table game minimums ae too high. Supposedly the State of Indiana... More

Tropicana has taken over this casino from Aztar gaming. They have made lots of improvements but their payoffs are not good. The casino is very smokey so we usually go early in the morning before the smoke gents too bad. A nice place to visit but not our favorite.

Ever wonder why they painted the walls yellow? To hide the nicotine deposite from the smoke. At least they have a non smoking level, even if they didn't clean the walls. Hey Trop, how come the non smoing level can't have free coffee and the fancy soft drink machine like the smokers do on level 3? Went on a week... More

The ceilings are very low as it is a riverboat. The place was incredibly packed and full of mostly elderly people in electric wheelchairs and walkers. It was also absolutely stinking full of smoke from cigars, pipes and cigarettes. We are both allergic to tobacco smoke and had to leave after less than an hour because we were getting sick from the dense smoke.We...
