What was just a brief stop in Evansville to break up our road-trip turned into one of the highlights. On Wednesday evenings you can rent a BMX bike and helmet for free, if it's your first time (nominal fee if not), and ride their track for as long as you want. It was such a fun experience for both me... More

The water park itself was great, nice clean pools, friendly staff, etc. Our only problem was the bathroom/changing room smelt terribly of urine and was unclean. There was standing water on the floor and trash all over the place, it was very unsanitary. The smell was so overwhelming.

I love Burdette! It's a fun place to sim and cool off, as well as do family reunions or work get-togethers at.

We went on a family trip and stayed in Chalet 5. The Chalet was very rustic, pretty, and had lots of sleeping space. It was perfect for a family. During the day we visited the waterpark. We rode one of the two slides mainly because the other one was inclosed and looked too scary. The pools were Olympic size but... More

the park and swimming is going down hill, but the rental shelters are good for reunions and parties. The best thing is the walking trail 3 miles to USI; very nice walk and well marked, go all the way to campus and get an iced coffee at fake starbucks or just to the bottom of the first hill. 1K then... I have been coming here since I was a child. Took my children and now my grandchildren. My only complaint is that the condition of the rentable floats is poor. Rental cost is high and the rental staff is rude. I would recommend bringing one's own.

Burdette Park sits on 170 acres of unsurpassed beauty, right in Evansville. Surrounded by such surreal peace and quiet, it is difficult to remember that you are just minutes away from the downtown center of Indiana's third largest city. However, the delightful mix of both convenience and a secluded setting make Burdette Park THE place to go when nature begins... More

Nice park to come to in the summer! It has enough to do for all ages. It has enough to do but there is enough attentive staff there that you don't have to climb all the hills. I had my older kids go with their smaller cousins and saved me a few trips. There are ways around the cost of... More

Great family fun here. The pool has an extensive shallow area, so it's great for very small kids and toddlers. The water slides are fun for older kids. Refreshments are pricey, so be prepared. You can rent floats, but if you stay long enough, there are often abandoned floats to use. You may bring pool toys like diving sticks and... More

Fun for kids of all ages. baby pool that gets deeper for toddlers. several play toys in the water for the toddlers to climb and slide down. Nice water slide, lap pool. floats to rent and a very nice concession stand. I like going just to float on the raft and get a tan. you can also stay in a... More
