The best attraction is the amazon rain forest. The zoo is not heavy on animals. It is a small zoo with not much to do. I would recommend the zoo store if you are looking for something for the grand kids. The store does have a nice selection.

Visited with are young grandson's in August. We actually were in the area and seen the admission price was not overly expensive. So, we didn't pay a lot but we also didn't see a lot. We seen very few animals and what we did see were actually very hard to find because of bad signing. We seen very few animals... More

This zoo has only changed alittle from when I was a kid. It also has a lot of hills so if grandma and grandpa are going just take the trolley. We've been to other zoos and I will say I'm not impressed at all with this one. I would love for them to expand and fill the empty cages with... More

Unfortunately for our local zoo it is not a great place to visit. It is expensive for very few animals and very long walks in between them. Well worth the drive to visit a much better zoo in Nashville.

This was my first trip to this zoo in a few years. It was very enjoyable. It was not busy. The paths were shaded so you didn't mind it being a hot day. I can tell they are slowly improving this zoo, it has came a long way in just 2 years. It's small, but worth a visit. We are... More

The zoo is a fun place for family and friends. The gardens are a good plus too! It's not usually over packed during the week.

This is a cute smaller zoo. The kids enjoyed the jaguar and the way they had several peacocks and other birds walking around. The robot zoo is not worth the extra money.

The zoo seemed to be set up very oddly. There also were not as many animals as I was expecting. The animals were very nice to see and it was quiet when I went right away in the morning. Nice scenic walk and pleasant time.

We arrived in the afternoon and got right in. WE started in Amazonia. We loved this area of the zoo. There was a visible mist over our heads as we would envision in a Rain Forest. Lots of fabulous and well cared for plants of all kinds. We were impressed with the ferns and flowering plants. Our favorite exhibits were... More
