A must see

This is really a museum for RV's. What a collection of trailers and motorhomes. The staff is very knowledgeable and know their history of the creation of the RV era.

This was a fun side trip going to the RV Hall of Fame. The building is fairly new, and he exhibits are ver well done. It was interesting to see the evolution of RVs in the U.S. As RV owners this was a must see!

There is a surprising range of vehicles and campers from the earliest days of recreational vehicles. Mae West's travel cabin, old Model T Ford converted into sleeping quarters, a couple of Airstreams, the classic 1980's motorhome (Lost in America?), 1950s caravans, tent-campers from the 1930's. The new RV exhibit gives you a feel for what is available (but it's missing... More

I you are or were a camping/RV enthusiast, you will love this. Admission is a little steep, if you are under 60, but worth it! They house the oldest RV in America. Most of the displays, you can actually get in the trailer! Interesting to me, that the older models would sacrifice a bathroom for two closets! Lots of ironed... More

We have been RVers for many years and looked forward to seeing this museum. We somehow expected more, but it was still interesting.

Amazing look at the RV's and their history. Fun, and kids would love it too! Elkhart is rich in the RV history - nice that they have a place to show it off!

This was one of the destination points on our trip last weekend. It lived up to expectations that I gathered from the RV Hall of Fame website. What is fun is that the many models can be gone into, just be sure children respect that things should be only for their eyes and not to be touched. What cannot be... More

Cool! Much more than I expected. Great historical adventure through the camping experience. The staff were all well-versed, and light-hearted. Definitely worth a visit.

Very neat interactive place to visit. Gift shop has high quality items that surprised us. Kids had a good time too.

This is a little off the beaten path. I found out about it on the internet and there is an informative website. This venue may appeal to classic car fans as well as those who are RV travelers, or just those who are curious. The interiors are history in a capsule as you walk from the first traveling vans around... More
