Very well done, interesting history of the RV culture in America. Many of the RVs were open and you could climb in them and look around.

We always joked about seeing the RV/MH Hall of Fame each time we passed by on the highway. This time we decided to stop and check it out. So glad we did! A free attraction and more history about RVing than we ever thought about. Excellent displays of the earliest RV from 1913 up to several others throughout the years.... More

Rv's are a big thing in Elkhart, that probably why you are looking at this attraction because you may own one. Take a 2 to 3 hour learning cycle here. If you have a RV you will soon see who and what of the subject. You will also see how good you have it even if yours is 20 years... More

If you love camping then you'll love this place. The history of camping in one place. From horse drawn on to present day. Lots of fun.

We visited the museum on June 8. You can park free next to the entrance. There are three rooms: utilities, history of RV and trailers and some models of 2015. They even have a smaller model of a RV production plant. Some of the old models you can enter and see how they are furnited.

The RV Founders Hall displays trailers, photos, and memorabilia reaching back to the 1920's and 1930's. Many of the RVs are open to walk through. The museum presents chronological and technological advancements in the industry from before WW I to the present. There is also a separate area with current RVs you can view and purchase if you like.
