At Turtle Run Winery, our motto is to "Produce exceptional quality wine that goes with food and friends." With over 30 wines available for free tastings, it's easy to find a wine you like. And, if you like sweet wines, we have a twist for you -- no sugar added, the international standard for making wine! Sweetness naturally from the grapes provides a clean, refreshing, fruit forward taste that's easy to enjoy. For dry wine folks, we've got you covered too! Through intricate barrel aging and blending, we are bringing back to your taste buds traditional styles of excellence from days gone by, including non-vintage wines!International award winning wine, incredibly detailed winery tours, a friendly staff interested in finding wines you like, picnic areas and wine appreciation classes and first class concerts on Sundays provide a lot of enjoyment and knowledge to you. Find out why Jim Pfeiffer, owner, winemaker, and professor of wine, figured out in the 1980's that Southern Indiana was the place to be to grow wonderful grapes to make exceptional quality wine that goes with food and friends!

Wonderful place that is off the beaten path but well worth the drive. No frills, just really good wine! Family run operation and beautiful land. They have live music on their patio most weekends and tastings are free!

We arrived 15 minutes before closing time, but we were still given a very nice tasting experience. We got to sample with a lot of information from the wine maker's advice based on our individual taste bud preferences. It was so personalized for my wife's very specific needs and preferences. We will return again with more time to explore and... More

I have had the distinct advantage of learning about their wines at a tasting in Naperville, IL. We loved it and had to take the time to see where it is produced. We were surprised to see how very small it was, considering the many wonderful wines they produce. Corydon is VERY southern Indiana, but that is what the owner,... More

This was the best winery experience I have had! We went on a wine tour for my sister's bachelorette party... and this one was amazing! The best of the 6 we went to that day! I loved the wine and the tasting was fun and casual and the ladies were so friendly and they let us taste as much as... More

These winemakers earn their 5-star review by making wine the old, french way. Do a tasting with Jim, the owner. His knowledge and passion for his wines shine through. I like that the tastings are complementary (while larger wineries like Hubers now charge) because you are better able to sample more wines and pick several you want to take home!... More

This winery is on the Uplands of Indiana Wine Trail. As part of the trail we visited this winery this past weekend. it is a smaller family run operation located in a peaceful country setting. The wine tasting was free and the gentleman (owner) was more than happy to tell his story and those of his wines. He truly made... More

Found Turtle Run in 2007 as a part of the Uplands of Indiana Wine Trail. THE BEST winery in the group. Retuned many times in 2008 for Sunday music! In 2009 we chose them as one of two ?Indiana wines to showcase at our sons wedding! Tons of people fell in love with their choices. Jim and Laura and their... More

Young family own business. You can go there for wine tasting and history of their set up. On certain days they are closed so call ahead and check their schedule. Sometimes they have music and you can sit listen to it while you drink their wine. It is a very clean and nice place to visit. Their wines of many... More

When heading to Jasper we saw a sign for Turtle Run Winery on the freeway, so we stopped in. The staff was so friendly (as were the two dogs that greeted us). The winery had a nice selection of white and red wines. We selected three sweet white wines. The prices were very reasonable. I anticipate a return visit on... More
