Indiana Caverns has, as I write this, been open for 8 weeks. Not as developed as nearby Squire Boone, Marengo, or Blue Springs, it nonetheless provides cave enthusiasts with a very unique and entertaining experience. One is required to sit through a 9 minute video before descending. The video begins just fine but then starts to introduce theological content. IMO... More

Other local caves exhibit better and more beautiful formations, but this one has many unique features, including prehistoric animal bones and a boat ride on the underground river. The cave tours are still being developed, so there should be more and better to be seen there in the near future.

If you're not from a karst dominated area and don't have a lot of experience in caves, you might enjoy the scenery. If you've ever been in a cave and just happen to be hanging out in Corydon, IN (not sure why), then choose one of the other 3 or 4 great caves in the area. Our guide reminded us... More

Open since June of 2013, Indiana Caverns is the newest addition to the group of several commercial cave tours in the Southern Indiana region. As with just about any cave you're likely to tour, this one comes with steps. That should be a basic expectation for anyone wishing to tour a commercial cavern. Here, access is gained via spiral staircases... More

We had a wonderful outing at the caves. The guide was informative and fun. The only issue is that there are lots of stairs. We had called ahead and were told there were stairs but didn't realize two sets of stairs were spiral. This was even more difficult for one person in the group. If there is someone in your... More

Our family went with our 4-H group. Our tour guide was a former middle school science teacher that was VERY knowledgeable. He spent extra time telling us about the ice-age bones, waterfall, formations, history, etc. It was very interesting, and of course the boat ride on the underground river was very unique. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here. We will... More

The facility is brand new and spotless clean!! For the price, you get a great tour! There are TONS of stairs to go down and back up...so if stairs are difficult for you, this cave tour might not be for you! The boat ride inside the cave was awesome and unique! Our tour guide, Debbie, was great! She was very... More

I've been to caves all over the US and Mexico. This cave is by far one of the most interesting. There are prehistoric bones littering the cave floors and an underground river that you coast through on a boat. The park is well kept and our tour guide was amazing. Sorry I can't remember her name but I believe it... More

Stopped on way back home from holiday world, just was overly impressed with how informative this tour was in our own back yard. The young man studying for his bachelors degree was a great tour guide for the caverns and me and my family wish him well and thank you. The McMahon Family

Excellent diversity of things to see on the tour; formations, boat ride, large passage, small passage, ice-age bones, waterfall, biology, geology, history, all interpreted well by guide. An amazing look at what is beneath our feet. Free parking and a nature trail are pluses too.
