This was one of our first stops on the Morgan Trail through southern Indiana. The battlefield was well maintained, sites were marked and detailed, and served as a great beginning for our road trip.

This is a really neat little park that is off the beaten path. There is so much history to learn about while you are here. It is a beautiful place to take pictures in the fall.

My son enjoyed pretending he was firing the cannon. I nice little stop if you are looking to fill in some empty time slots. Not a lot here but it is always interesting to know you are standing somewhere an important event took place.

I've been to some of the civil war battle fields, so when I learned Corydon had the only battlefield in Indiana, decided to pay a visit. The park, like other reviews said was really small, it was clean and had some description for the events. Stopped by and took some photos and left. If you are interested in history and... More

Came upon this gemstone by chance. Just out driving one day and the kids were able to learn something! It is a nice area wish it had more information at site.

We are Civil War buffs, so had to cross off the only battlefield in Indiana. We were not familiar with the Morgan raid so we were interested in getting more information. Corydon is a nice town. Be sure to stop at the visitors center in town, for information on the area. The Corydon State Capital Historical Site looked interesting, but... More

My family and I stopped here when we saw the sign along the highway. This battlefield is not very big, but there is a cannon, a cabin, and some other artifacts, along with several plaques and memorials that fully detail the battle that was fought here. History buffs will want to visit because this was the only Civil War battle... More

As a civil war buff, my wife and I seek small park sites such as this. The log cabin and historical markers are neat. However, if you have a passing interest in history, it would be good as a quick stop among other things in cordon. I would pair it with the newer small battle of cordon museum in downtown... More

This is a beautiful small park to commiserate the only Civil War battle in Indiana. It would be nice if there were a larger area to use for picnics and a bathroom. The bathroom could be as easy as the use of portable toilets.
