We were staying at the Hilton Garden Inn which is maybe a half mile from this park. Fun to run and see all of the flowers, wild birds, water features and small lake.

Beautiful 167-acre preserve, 4+ miles of trails, waterfalls, fountain and tons of great places to take pictures. Over 2 miles of hard surfaced trails for wheelchairs and easy for strollers. Great place for weddings, birding, nature watching.

Well maintained and marked trails. You can walk up on the tamest deer at any given moment. Safe and lit for night walking.

Coffee Creek Watershed Conservancy Preserve is a great place to visit and walk. There are plenty of trails for people and/or people and their dogs to walk. It is a beautiful setting near the heart of downtown Chesterton.

It's a good place to hike, but if it's rained recently the trail will be muddy in areas. Wear appropriate shoes! There are picnic areas. There's a large pond with a fountain.

This combined untouched, and residential area features some of the country's greatest variety of birds. The Watershed Conservancy works hard to preserve 3 miles of lovely hiking paths, a beautiful natural amphitheater on a lovely fountained pond. There is a meadow large enough for kite flying, and even hot air balloons. Several time a year, the management holds free concerts... More

I have walked here most mornings for many years with a friend. It is remarkably cheap therapy for the soul as well as great exercise! I usually have a camera with me and have countless photos of the deer and each season's flowers. If you love birds it will not disappoint especially during seasonal migration. The Coffee Creek redwinged blackbirds... More

I live near the Preserve and enjoy morning walks on the trails there. Most are of pavers and boardwalks. The back trail (3.2 miles, I believe.) has gravel areas as well as the pavers and boardwalks. Most trails have some hilly areas. There is a frog pond and the Coffee Creek River runs through it where you can see steelhead... More
