Conveniently located with easy access off State Road 37. We were traveling back home from Southern Indiana on Father's Day and saw the sign for Oliver Winery. We decided to stop in and found that they were open and what a pleasant surprise. A beautiful garden setting. We took the tour, and it was very informative. We learned a lot... More

It has been several years since we have gone to Oliver - and we were very impressed! The amount of wines have greatly improved, no longer just the sweet Indiana varieties! The tasting room is great, and not too crowded. Bring lunch and buy a bottle of wine for a great afternoon. Kid friendly, we plan on being friends and... More

Thank you so much for this wonderful endorsement! We think there is a wine for every palate at Oliver Winery, and we're so glad you enjoyed some of our drier varietals. And you couldn't have picked a better weekend weather-wise. We look forward to hosting you when you bring your family for the day! Hopefully very soon. Cheers! Sarah Anderson... More

Oliver is the perfect place to spend an afternoon, especially in the spring and fall. There are two tasting places (sometimes 3 when it is busy) If you face the lake there is a building to the left which usually has less people with the same tastings. On the patio they usually have live music too! So pack your cheese... More

Thanks for the great review! So glad you enjoyed your time here this fall. Good tips, too, about the extra tasting bars on busy weekends. We hope you'll come out and visit us again soon! Cheers, Sarah Anderson Oliver Winery Marketing Director More

Touring and visiting local wineries is a pastime of my friends and me, so while I was living in the area of course we had to visit Oliver. Oliver Winery is situated in a lovely, wood building where you can buy their wines and do a wine tasting (8 tastes for $5). You can also take a free tour of... More

Christina, We are so happy to hear you enjoyed Oliver Winery! The tasting room staff members are terrific, and I'm sure they were the reason your tour was so fun. Glad to hear it. If you were here in April, you probably saw the gorgeous tulip and daffodil display in the gardens. It was a banner year for the spring... More

A very good experience. The owner Bill was our host the day of our tasting. We toured the facility and tasted many great wines. They have imported grapes from California and their own vineyard as well. A very impressive facility and beautiful grounds with a nice lake and large local hard wood trees. A must see when in Bloomington, Indiana.

I've visited Oliver since the 80's. It was just a small little tasting room then with a small area for picnics. Now, the grounds are beautiful and expansive and the tasting area is large with a good selection of picnic items. Oh yes, they have wine too. :) The wine is great, some of the best in the state. There... More

We visited Oliver Winery with a group of moms and daughters from IU. It was a gorgeous property and the wine tasting was so fun. The employees were helpful and knowledgeable about the various wines and it made the tasting very informative and educational. We brought a picnic lunch and ate on the deck. It was a lovely day.
