We visited Oliver Winery for the first time in 1979; back then, it had one building and a person who would tell you about the wine-making process. Now it's a large, wonderfully landscaped, well-run winery with excellent tours and tastings, beautiful grounds where you can picnic, and special events. Inside the main building is a large tasting bar and all... More

We have been to about 75 wineries - give or take. This one is by far our overall favorite. They have an excellent selection of wines, Reasonably priced, Great discount on case purchases. Absolutely a BEAUTIFUL setting: Rock landscaping, plants, flowers, bushes, water fountain. Tables and chairs outside so you can buy a glass or bottle of wine, cheese, bread... More

We visited Oliver winery on Sunday, August 3rd in the early afternoon. We had never been there before. We arrived to find out the grounds and gardens were incredible beyond belief! The rollings hills, age-old trees and blooming flowers took my breath away. We entered the tasting room and were immediately greeted by a professional employee who lead us straight... More

Another place that Oliver winery has for a visit is their vineyards (a few miles from the winery). They held "Uncork the Upplands" event last weekend with nine wineries there. A BBQ dinner (Gerrick's BBQ) was also provided in the ticket cost (along with wine tastings or non-alcohol beverages) as well as a bluesy-jazzy band from Nashville, TN. Walking tours... More

We stopped for a tour of the winery, and to buy some wine. I loved the fact my 8 year old was able to go through with us - she is homeschooled and it was an interesting way to teach her some history. The garden and waterfall outside was lovely, the aroma was wonderful walking through it. The tour of... More

We took a group of 5 to the Oliver Winery for a day of tasting and exploring for a friend's birthday. The winery had a wonderful tasting tour for $5 a person. Lots to buy in the gift shop including accessories, wine and cheese. They also had a great band on the large outside decked area which allowed us to... More

We have been visiting Oliver once a year for numerous years. The grounds and landscaping are beautiful! Outdoor seating is wonderful! The staff has always been helpful and friendly. The wines are average, but it is still worth it. Oliver allows you to bring your own picnic if you wish. We bring ours every time, and this year sat outside... More

Decided to stop in after driving past. The grounds are beautiful! Really enjoyed the free tour. You can partake in whine tasting. Gift shop is very nice. The employees are super friendly and willing to answer your questions.

My husband and I decided to stop at one of our favorite spots in Bloomington just to taste a little wine and buy a few bottles. The tasting is always fun and the music on the patio was excellent. We shared a bottle of cold Moscato with some cheese and crackers and thoroughly enjoyed a gorgeous July day in BTown... More
