Oliver Winery is on our short list when we go to Bloomington. They have wonderful wine ranging from very dry to very sweet. The winery tour length is perfect for an early evening followed by wine tasting. I don't have one favorite wine there but I love the semi-sweets, but it's a blast tasting the other options. We always buy... More

We had fun...good wine! We bought a bottle of just about everything we sampled. Hahaha. The only down side is that it is a bit far from bloomington when you don't know the area well.

The grounds are spectacularly landscaped with huge rocks, waterfalls, etc. with multiple decks on the side that overlook a lake. A band was setting up outside but didn't stay for that. Have visited twice and each time though we have had a hard time finding a spot around the bar to do the tastings. And, because the bar is so... More

Following up from a review 6 months ago ... what remains true is that this is a great place to visit, it's set up nicely, the folks are friendly, and the grounds are very very nice. I had tried several of Oliver's wines before and honestly never cared for them and said as much in my review. I was thankful,... More

Great wine and a very helpful staff made our visit to Oliver's wonderful!! We didn't have enough time to take the tour but I would have liked too. The wine tasting was fun and we took advantage of the 20% discount on a case of wine!

This winery is Indiana's oldest. It has much history behind it. The winery is large, and their product is well known throughout indiana. The set up is beautiful. A tasting here is $5, but they do not skimp. They give you 8 decent portions of different types of wine that you choose. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly. There are... More

One of the nicest wineries I've been to. The staff was so friendly, excellent customer service. I only wish they would have had all the wines available for tasting.

Definitely worth the trip and is close to Bloomington for more of a dining destination. The grounds of Oliver are beautiful and the vineyards expand every year so its fun to peek in on them in late summer and see the progression. The wine is fantastic and there is something for everyone. The gift shop is full of folk/wine uniquities... More
