We love going here. They have some great wines with our favorite being there Blackberry. It's hard to get since they sell out so fast. You can go there and buy wine, cheese and crackers and sit on the patio or by the pond to relax. The staff is friendly and very knowledgeable. I would recommend taking the winery tour.... More

We had a great time tasting and buying. The staff was very knowledgable and friendly. They explained many wines as well as there wine club (which is a great deal). The grounds are beautiful, great for pictures.

While the winery is a little difficult to get to, it is completely worth the trip. Their Catawba wine might be my most favorite "picnic" wine in the world. Nice and sweet on the palette, with a nice acidic cut on the finish. Very nice. I also highly recommend trying the fresh bread they serve there from the bakery across... More

Tried out their wine tasting and really had a good time. The wine was good and the servers were very knowledgeable of the vineyard. Definitely a good place to go if you have some spare time while in Bloomington.

What do you say about that wine that is just okay, with some interesting flavors that you don't really have descriptors for - " just a really fun wine"? This was a fun winery. It was surprising to find a serious winery in the middle of Indiana that actually had some of their own locally grown grapes; the wines were... More

Oliver Winery has a wide selection of wines, a great (though often busy) tasting room, and lovely sprawling grounds. Take a picnic, do a tasting, maybe a tour, grab a bottle and some cheese from their selection and enjoy an afternoon around the lake. Great for couples, friends, families, and dogs!

Our experience at Oliver was great. The landscape was well manicured, especially with the waterfall at the entrance. The wine shop was busy so we didn't do a wine tasting (their wine is very good anyway), but we did buy some garlic spread and other goodies. One of the best wineries I've visited, if not the best.

By far the best wine taste experience. Great setup with life music, open patio, and a pond. Beautiful grounds to explore, not to mention some great wine too!

My husband & I stopped at the Oliver Winery on our drive down to West Baden Springs Hotel. We have been drinking Oliver wine for years as our daughter introduced it to us during the year she lived in Indiana so when I saw signs that the winery was on our route we decided to stop. What a beautiful property.... More

Best place in Indiana to sample wine. Friendly and professional staff. High quality wines, mead and hard ciders. Beautiful grounds and a relaxed atmosphere. Well worth the trip. Bought several bottles to bring home and intend to definitely go back.
