I'll be honest, I don't drink wine, which may be part of the reason I enjoy this place so much. The landscape is beautiful, there is a nice outdoor seating area (a patio with covered and uncovered seating, as well as picnic areas by the pond), and the interior is charming. You can tour the wine making facility, pick up... More

This is a very nice place to visit; the grounds are well maintained, it is nice to go there and taste some wine, and it is very relating to buy some wine and cheese and hang out on their back deck. Overall, just a nice place to hang out with some friends and have a couple casual hours. On the... More

This is one of my favorite Indiana Sunday afternoon getaways. The setting is relaxing inside and out. There is a quick tour of the winery, not boring nor will it cut into your time there making you wish that they would hurry. The tasting room is quite large so they can hold lots of tasters. The different amounts of wine... More

Oliver is a gorgeous relaxing spot close to my home in south central Indiana. Many people take wedding photos there. More go for the wine and lovely atmosphere. It's always busy during spring to fall with people enjoying products and scenery and wine tasting daily. Definitely something to try in Bloomington!

We love going to Oliver . They have a lot of wines that we like. They even over hard cider and a new series Creekbend wines . The hard cider and Creekbend series are a local or online purchase. We have few favorites from the Creekbend and the regular line of Oliver wines. Great place to hang out with friends... More

We visited Oliver Winery for the first time in 1979; back then, it had one building and a person who would tell you about the wine-making process. Now it's a large, wonderfully landscaped, well-run winery with excellent tours and tastings, beautiful grounds where you can picnic, and special events. Inside the main building is a large tasting bar and all... More

We visited Oliver winery on Sunday, August 3rd in the early afternoon. We had never been there before. We arrived to find out the grounds and gardens were incredible beyond belief! The rollings hills, age-old trees and blooming flowers took my breath away. We entered the tasting room and were immediately greeted by a professional employee who lead us straight... More

Another place that Oliver winery has for a visit is their vineyards (a few miles from the winery). They held "Uncork the Upplands" event last weekend with nine wineries there. A BBQ dinner (Gerrick's BBQ) was also provided in the ticket cost (along with wine tastings or non-alcohol beverages) as well as a bluesy-jazzy band from Nashville, TN. Walking tours... More
