Good wine and service

A little bit out of the way, but worth the trip. Nice rural setting. The wines here were pretty good and the server was knowledgeable and friendly.

We decided to do the Upland Winery trail. Butler is one of the 9. We went to the older house. There is a vineyard further north. The staff there was delightful. He was informative with the wines. We got a bottle. The taste testing wines were very good.

One of the oldest wineries in Indiana, and we enjoyed speaking with owner about his wines! The tasting room is simple, but the garden and outdoor seating is very pretty! They have a good selection of wines, especially whites. We enjoyed their Traminette, and we brought home a bottle of South Shore White.

This is a good spot to bring a picnic lunch and enjoy some wine. The owners are all very nice and personable. The in town tasting room is a great spot to pick up some homebrew supplies as well.

We were recently in Brown County Indiana and the cabin we were staying in was near the Butler Winery. We just had to stop and we are so glad we did. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable about their wines. We tasted 6 wines for $3. I tasted the semi-sweet wines and the rose was awesome. I'm going to have... More

The wine from here is very good. I personally like semi-sweet & sweet wines & for being a small winery they have a great selection. They also offer several fruit wines, the blueberry & raspberry were great! They do charge a $3 tasting fee, I don't mind because I have paid as much as $12 for a tasting before at... More

Oh my goodness, the Butler Winery was truly phenomenal. The guys were informative and entertaining. There was the perfect wine rack that called out to me so I took it home along with several bottles of wine.

This is a pretty winery and it has a nice gift shop. The wines we didn't really care for. We only really liked the vineyard white , rose, and red. They do charge a small fee for their tastings.

The wine here is great. The lovely lady who does the wine tastings is very pleasant and welcoming and the prices of the wine are perfect. This place is much better than Oliver Winery and it is so much quieter to enjoy a bottle of wine outside.

This winery and it's vineyards are "off the beaten path". This is indeed a positive as it feels like a mini-vacation to head there. The tasting building is lovely and large! Staff are very helpful and wine knowledgeable. Nice selection of wine themed souvenirs and gift items in their store area. Reasonable tasting fee which they are entirely fine with... More
