Loved it!!!

My sister and I went and had a wonderful time. We bought fresh produce, herb plants, kettle corn and our breakfast. Will definitely be back any time I visit my sister.

A true farmers market with fresh produce, jams, honey, breads, and even flowers offered for sale. Art and crafts also offered. Last Saturday had live music, singing, and clogging for your entertainment. Easy parking- both meters and free- made it even more fun.

I always look forward to the Bloomington outdoor farmers market on Saturdays. Rarely do I buy any produce or goods but it's a fun place to hang out and enjoy the morning. I enjoy the tamales from feast but you better get there early because they sell out fast!

The Farmer's Market is open from 7:30 am until noon each Saturday morning, May thru October. It is located around the old courthouse in downtown Bloomington, Illinois. They have a great variety of goods to sell: plants, cheese, artwork of all kinds, bake sales, local bakery goods, pasta, craft items, such as pottery, jewelry, seasonal fruits and vegetables. The music... More

This is a genuine Farmers Market! The offerings are a bit overwhelming and my recommend is to walk the entire Saturday morning event before purchasing! You too will have decisions to make as everything is so fresh and plentiful. Some of the stand outs I experienced were the honey people and the Maple Syrup man...he is a wonderful character! The... Bloomington hosts Farmer's Markets year round. Cooler months they are held in the auditorium at Harmony School. Warmer months at Showers Plaza. The markets host an outstanding variety of fruits and vegetables, plants and flowers as well as meats and eggs, honeys, jams, maple syrup, cheeses and goats milk products. Entertainment is spread throughout. Prepared food and coffee is also... More

True farmers market with a great selection of produce - fruits and veggies, plants, honey and syrup, meat and cheese. Delicous food items to eat there, and I liked that it was in a different section than the items to buy, keeping the hungry folk from clogging up the flow of the shoppers. Also liked that there were no dogs... More

A great farmers market with lots of vendors, variety of food, produce and goods. Was impressed with the amount of organic and pesticide free produce.

Lots of fresh, local vegetables, flowers, and baked goods! Many stalls to choose from and a bonus last weekend of a Salsa Contest. One chef demonstrated how to make salsa while other booths had samples of fresh, cooked and specialized salsas. My favorite was a watermelon/beet salsa. This was, I believe, the 26th annual contest with 9 judges and many... More
