Local businesses have prepared food for sale in a different part of the market. Well worth a trip to Bloomington

We love this market, so much to experience and lots of goodies to take home.I especially love all the garden plants to choose from and take home and grow our own fresh vegetables, The variety of baked goods, coffee and lunch options makes it easy to spend a long morning browsing and have breakfast and lunch before you leave. There is... Great selection of fresh produce in season. Also plenty of meat, dairy, egg and bakery providers; many are organic or additive free. We travel to Bloomington and shop every couple of weeks.

Every time I go to the Bloomington Farmer's Market, I wish I had another hour or more to shop. The kids always want to eat first, and then there is so little time to explore the rich offerings this market has to offer. Locally sourced meats, locally grown fruits and veg, lots of herbs, flowers, handmade clothing items. Friendly vendors... More

We visited the Farmers Market on our visit to Bloomington to see our son. What a fun morning - lots of local fruits & veggies. Many local bakeries, treats, etc. I bought a natural clay face mask from a vendor that uses local items to make her treasures :). Lots of fun seeing the families with their children who were... Besides having many colorful, fresh, organic offerings from a diverse variety of vendors; the Bloomington Farmer's Market is a feast for the eyes and the taste buds. There's also live music, interesting people-watching and energetic, vibrant energy. It's a fun place to be on Saturday morning.

It makes me hungry just to see the wonderful variety of fruits and vegetables. I sampled a lovely goat cheese and had a delicious cup of coffee. We were there for the arts market and found some lovely pieces. Beautiful and talented work. It makes me wish I lived here!

This is the best Farmer's Market around Central Indiana! Just ask almost anyone in Bloomington. It is well participated, well planned and a delight! Our Bloomington, IN folk really attend and buy many things at their Saturday and Tuesday Markets! It is well supported! Don't miss a chance to visit! It goes from April to November with seasonal goodies and... More

On Saturday mornings in summer or fall, if you are within an hour's drive of Bloomington, Indiana, you should head to the farmer's market. Small markets are offered other mornings or evenings, but Saturday is always an event. You will see various groups (Amish? Dunkers? Anabaptists? I don't know but their clothes are definitely not from Banana Republic) selling produce,... More
