This is a Jewell in INDIANA's crown. Stroll the campus, after traveling through the many miles of southern Indiana's hills, & the magnificence of the HOOSIER "spirit," is felt. The university seems like it is the city, and seems to reach into the hills. I've had 2 grands there, & always enjoy visits.

I had the pleasure of attending a symposium here from April 29 through May 2, 2015, and the beauty of the campus's landscaping added immeasurably to my enjoyment of the academic events.

The university is stunning. It feels like you are walking through a park. Great atmosphere, academics, and the town surrounding the campus is a quintessential college town.

IU's Mini University every June is probably one of the best, if not the best, adult ed adventure in the nation. With over a hundred lectures by outstanding profs in every major field of study, it's hard to narrow choices to three a day and then choose between very special lectures or entertainment in the evenings. And it all happens... More

Lovely town with a world class university. Nice hotels, restaurants, plenty of state parks, museums, theaters, and Midwestern ambiance. Would recommend it especially for high school students while looking for the right college.

Indiana University is located in Bloomington, Indiana in the county of Monroe. Without the county has a population of 55k, but IU has 42,000 students. The town is welcoming and has a wide variety of eclectic restaurants and lovely little shops. Ten miles to the South is Lake Monroe. The area features wonderful golf courses, hotels and amazing sites. Touring... More

An absolutely amazingly beautiful campus. You will feel safe here because you are. Bloomington is a great town and you won't feel bad about having your kids live there.
