This has been a go to place for me for the last 35 years. Even though I have been going for such a long time I always find another trail to enjoy. This is the favorite local park for our family to enjoy.

It is a nice SMALL state park. It is located on the Fox River making it accessible for canoeing. It also has a small lake and areas for picnicking.

A beautiful park great for taking hikes in and fishing. There's several playgrounds for children and large pavilions were I've seen family gatherings held. Great place for spotting wildlife like water snakes, spiders, deer, and songbirds.

Pretty much a nice quiet spot (depends on who comes around). I would say it's better for hiking than fishing though we did finally catch a couple of channel cats. Would definitely go back.

We always take our kids here fishing. They also have grills around so you can cook there if you want. My husband also proposed to me here.

A friend and I went kayaking in June in the small lake located in this park. Very tranquil and peaceful place. Would recommend for anyone who wants to go hiking or kayaking.

Nice trails for running and hiking. Two decent sized lakes for fishing. Good access to Fox River. Paddle boat rentals and concession stand available. Very easy and short hike to spring.
