I went on the Golden Circle tour and the South Shore tour with Iceland Horizons after reading the reviews on this site. It was with some trepidation, as I am not a huge fan of guided coach tours. However, Iceland Horizons only take small groups of people, so the trips feel more personal and we were given ample time at... More

We went on the Golden circle tour in May of 2008. We saw every large site on the tour, it started at 8am and ended about 5. Every sight we stopped at was facinating and beautiful, even the power plant and green houses! We would recomend this tour to anyone visiting Iceland for the first time. You learned about the... Not much to say that hasn't been said. The geysirs were fun and exciting every time they spouted. The waterfall was magnificent. The parliament site was more interesting for its natural history than being the seat of the government so many years ago, but very worth going for; peaceful views of the lake, church and snow-capped volcanoes.

After reading the recommendations from others on trip advisor, I tried booking Iceland Horizon through their website. I was heading to Iceland on the Friday, and I booked on the Tuesday. I was worried this may be a little bit late and when I didn't receive a confirmation email I thought I was out of luck. On the Saturday morning... More

We went on the Golden Circle excursion with Go Travel/ Iceland Horizons in early April. The trip was fantastic. We travelled in a mini bus which was better than travelling by coach as we were able to stop at sights the big buses can't reach and spent more time at the sights. Our guide, Bob, was excellent and gave us... More

My boyfriend and I came to Reykjavik to celebrate his 30th birthday and we had a brilliant time on the Iceland Horizons Golden Circle tour. We travelled on a minibus, which was much more intimate than the larger coaches, and the sights themselves - a lively geyser and a ferocious waterfall - are unmissable. But what really made the trip... More

Looking at other reviews of the various companies offering Golden Circle tours we booked with Iceland Horizons and we weren't disappointed. From the moment the minibus picked us up and our guide, Bob (from Cape Cod) introduced himself, we had an amazing 10 hours. Bob was entertaining and informative and he shared his obvious love of this inspiring country. With... More

I went on the Golden Circle tour with Iceland Horizon and thought it was terrific. The group was very small (10-15 people) and extremely personalized. The tour guide (David) is the owner of Iceland Horizon - not only is he informative about the sights we visited, he is also very knowledgeable about Icelandic culture, history and current events. I spent... More

What a great experience and what a really interesting and knowledgeable person David was. Highly recommend Iceland Horizon as the tour bus you use to see the various sights. Small group of people on the trips, with David always talking but very interesting to listen to and is very helpful (and wants to help) with regard to suggesting places to... More

Joined the trip by Net bus. We were picked up on time. The bus was a small one with only about 16 people. Which is good, cos i don't want to be crowding along 50 other people around the geysir for photos. Our guide was funny and obviously well trained. He must have had visited the national museum frequently~ Overall,... More
