I recommend to go early for dinner if you go to the 1st show, food is surprisingly good and priced the same as a restaurant. this eliminates the need to go to dinner before or after. Good choice of headliners. view schedule in the website

The comedian, Mike Patel was very funny. We found the 2 item minimum a bit much after paying an admission of $26 each, and to make it worse, the drink prices are exorbitant. If you want even finger type food, get there early for one of the dinner tables, the one we and most others got as well, aren't big... More

Wasn't quite sure where we were going when we went in, but after getting to the basement, the layout was fantastic. The room was laid out perfectly and was very comfortable. The comedians were very, very funny. However, it'd be nice to not have to hear cuss words every fourth word. You can be funny without the expletatives.

We had a great night but seeing as it was so cold outside we were slightly annoyed that although we purchased our tickets the day before and were told that doors open at 8.15pm were made to wait outside for an hour in the cold as the bar was too busy from the earlier show. Its a massive venue so... More

We have visited the Chicago Improv a few times now, whenever we stay overnight in Schuamburg, Ill. They always have great headliners who keep us rolling in their seats. It is a bit more pricey than say, the MIlwaukee WI comedy clubs, but I think it is the area too. They offer both food and drinks. They also do not offer... More

Okay, I went here on Saturday night to see Jim Breuer do stand up. First of all, he is one of the funniest people in the world. Period. NOW....that is why I rated the Improv a 4 and not a 3. The Improv is located in the Woodfield Mall, parking is a challenge, but it is free and if you... More

Have been there 4 times, going again next weekend. Been beyond pleased every time I have gone. Other comedy venues I have been too have been so crowded, sitting in uncomfortable baseball game seats being elbow to elbow with the person next to you. I love at the Chicago Improv you sit at a nice comfortable table. Food is amazing,... More

Seeing comedy up close and personal is always best...the nuances of the show get lost through TV. The Improv gives a small enough venue to interact with the performer (that's what "improv" is all about). We saw Bryan Callen; he's been in movies and TV and the like, so it was a great show. Had three lead-ups that were ok,... More

It was a very good atmosphere and alot of fun. We had dessert and the server was very nice. The comedian was Rocky LaPorte and he was funny. I enjoyed the whole experience and the place was very nice. I would go back again in the near future. We celebrated my husband's birthday and we had a wonderful time.

Not where I expected a comedy club to be, but it works. We got the dinner package and were seated in time to order drinks and have dinner before the show started. Good site lines for the show and dinner was very good. Service was very slow though! This would be a great night out with friends.
