I'm not sure that I'd travel a huge distance to visit this sculpture park, but we live in the area and its a pleasant place to walk around. The park is near the village headquarters building and grounds which is the site for festivals and concerts (there is a band shell) and near the Prairie Center for the Arts. Its... More

This is one of my favorite locations for a walk. One weekends it gets busy, however it's a beautiful park to visit. They have a fountain with swans, this year I believe there are at least 5 baby swans, and sculptures throughout. There is also a pavilion for live music, and I think they hold concerts there as well. I've... More

Not much to see. We went and the main building was already closed for the day. We walked around the lake and took a few pictures.

Village of Schaumburg has very nice grounds around the Village Hall area. The pond that is right on the grounds and all the festivities that occur here make this a really neat place. This sculpture is just an added plus to an already really neat place. The walking trails they have through the grounds are certainly well planned and placed.... More

If you'd like a relaxing walk on a wooded trail that allows you to stop occasionally and see Award winning sculpture, this place is for you. The trail starts at the east end of the Schaumburg Village hall parking lot and runs approx. 1/4 mile through the woods to Plum Grove Road. It's a quiet, peaceful, unhurried stroll that relaxes... Beautiful walk through luscious green grounds. Surrounded by trees, streams and sky. Perfect for a walk, run or bike ride. Family friendly, couple romantic and great for solitary reflection.

We parked in the Prairie Center for the Arts lot and walked the path going east toward Plum Grove Rd. My kids enjoyed exploring the sculptures and running from spot to spot to see what was next. It was fun finding this exhibit hiding in the suburbs. We spent about an hour there.

Went here for a walk with the family on Father's Day. I wanted to go for a long hike but knew my kids wouldn't be interested so this was a good compromise. Sculptures were engaging enough for the kids to use their imagination on what the artist was trying to do/say...not quite sure 8 and 10 year olds had the... More
