I read the bad reviews and figured there was no way it could really be that bad. It was. It was so crowded on a Monday afternoon that it was miserable. They have an area where the kids build cars and race them down ramps.... But there were maybe 30 total wheels to build with. So my kids waited patiently,... More

There is nothing like this in Michigan so naturally we had to travel to Chicago/Schaumberg area to see it. The only thing that isn't the best policy, although we understand it is the fact that childfree couples aren't allowed in unless they are escorting in a child. Other than that it was just nice to be around Legos and be... More

For a suburban area establishment, it was great for kids. Wish it had a few more rides and areas for kids to assemble projects. Can be overcrowded at times. Long lines for checkout it you buy at the store.

We went as part of a birthday party for a 5-year-old. Rides and games definitely skew to that demographic. Kids older than 7 may not have as much fun. Warning... the exit is through the gift shop.

We went to LEGOLAND in Schaumburg, the weekend of June 13th. It was perfect, so much to do and see, We loved that it was big enough it did not feel crowded, but small enough you were not exhausted by the end of the day. We took every class, watched every demonstration and rode both rides. All good fun. We... More

It has long but quick lines. They have very cool lego displays. Easy bathrooms access and a good food service. They have a great lego selection. The kids had fun on the rides and enjoyed the building competition that they had. It was a fun trip for the family.

This is exclusively a kids play house. The store at the end of it isn't worth your time. The selection is the same as the toys r us down the street.

Showed up at 10:40am on a Sunday as a walk-in and was allowed in at 11:30am. That's not a bad wait. Ideally, I would have gone online and made "reservations" to not have a wait time. My son loved the place. He had plenty of things to do to include a scavenger hunt. Not sure though if going more than... More

this is more like a day care playground than a discover center. there was nothing cerebral as promised - no talks, presentations or demonstrations. we were shouted at by the staff at ever stop as if it were a carnival. the gift shop contained nothing different than a toys r us.

I'm so sorry to hear that you didn't experience as many educational experiences inside the center as you'd expected. I think this is great feedback for our future attraction planning, and I'll be sure to keep it in mind! Thank you for visiting. Nick General Manager More

My three kiddos are Lego maniacs so this was a no brainer, must do when we visited Chicago. It's not too large, so you'll be in and out quickly. Look for coupons for bogo. There are plenty out there, especially in the free Lego Club magazine. We've been to LEGOLAND in Florida, and while this does not compare to an... More
