I took my son here for the first time in December and the price was great and his experience was even better. He enjoyed every minute of seeing all the statues. The line for the ride was long but luckily for me he was patient. I liked that there were multiple areas for the kids to play. A place for... More

Overpriced. We visited Legoland with our children (7,4,4) on a Friday afternoon. The pluses: The crowds were small the day we went. The Star Wars and chicago Lego displays were fabulous. The place was very clean. The ride on the first floor was ok. The cons: The 4d movie seemed to need some updates, as it had effects that didn't... More

Good news is that our boys (7, 5, 5, 2) had a good time. Bad news is that the quality is terrible. Staff was very apathetic and poorly managed. Ran out of food at lunch time on a Sunday afternoon of a holiday weekend; 1/2 of the effects in the 4D movie didn't work; staff was not attentive to needs... More

Hi Jenni, Thanks so much for your feedback. I sincerely apologize for your frustrations on Sunday and the apparently disorganization of your trip to LEGOLAND Discovery Center. While holiday weekends can be busy inside the center, we do our best to limit capacity so that guests don't need to wait long periods of time to get on our rides or... More

Heard a lot about Legoland. So my family and I went. I highly recommend getting tickets in advance. If you go the day of there is no guarantee of getting in. Plus you save two dollars doing it online. It is nice that every attraction is included (rides, movie & factory tour). We did not get food or drinks so... More

Hi dpenn, Thanks for visiting us at LEGOLAND Discovery Center - Chicago! It sounds like your son had a blast in our building and play areas on the second floor during your visit, which is great to hear! Great advice to anyone looking to purchase tickets, especially during the Holidays, that the best way to do it is in advance... More

A few years ago we took our three kids here and they loved it. We had some buy one get one free coupons I think to make it doable but it was a blast.

While there are some neat Lego displays, kids can't touch them. They do provide fun photo opportunities though. There are two family friendly rides that have extremely long wait times compared to the length of the rides. There are frequent showings of Lego Movies in 4D, but if you don't sit front and center you won't benefit from the 4D... More

Hi Mommy, Thanks for visiting, and for writing a review on TripAdvisor. I appreciated reading your review as it contained plenty of feedback (good and bad!) for us at the Center, and advise for guests thinking about a visit! First off, I do apologize for the crowds that we experience during the school's Winter Break, its often some of the... More

This place is awesome!!! Make sure you buy your tickets ahead of time and reserve your time slot. We was planning on showing up when it opened but they were booked for the first 4hours. The place was packed but had a great flow to it and we still had a blast. The 4D cinema and the build your own... More

Prepaid for tickets, so no line there. No exaggeration-- Once in, we waited 30 minutes for the 2-minute first ride. 2 of the 7 carriages did not work so were not filled with patrons. At least one other carriage had devices that did not work, so patrons were given the option of skipping that carriage, too--so that carriage would travel... More

We surprised our son with an afternoon at Legoland and were not disappointed. There is so much to see and do here. The ride was fun, the indoor playground was a blast, and the exhibits were totally awesome. There was a theater and a tour that we didn't even have time to visit. I wish we had more time to... More
