Don't expect to spend the whole day here. Legoland in Schaumburg is very small. My step son, being a huge lego fan seem to enjoy it for about 2 hours. We left after gettting some lunch to go back to our hotel and swim. I was pretty disappointed in the size. Our whole trip was based on Legoland. All the... More

We took our kids here hoping they would enjoy it, and boy did they! So much fun, even my husband and I sat for an hour building with Legos! The staff was fun and friendly! Gave the kids stickers, challenged them to a Lego car race, sat and talked with us and built with the Legos too. They have a... More

Really a small version versus the Legoland in Carlsbad, CA. Nice displays and Legomaniacs will love it. I wasn't sure it was worth it. One interesting fact - the LEGO VIP purchase program is not honored here since it is NOT owned by LEGO but operated under a licensing agreement. More

We visited Legoland in Schaumburg this past weekend. We arrived about 3 p.m. Saturday and there was no line to get in. We had pre-purchased tickets online about a month ago but our trip got postponed. We were still able to use those tickets which we were grateful for. The "dragon" ride is currently closed so they are offering one... More

My kids had a great time, but the entrance fee is pricey for what there is to do. We did everything there was to do in three hours and were out the door. This is more for younger kids. I don't think older kids would have a good time. There are two "rides" but they are mild and don't last... More

I love playing with LEGO and loved going to Legoland in Denmark as a kid and taking my kids there as a parent - so I had expected high quality entertainment with lots of opportunity for creative play. Instead I found a rather grubby sort of place where almost everything was not actually open. The Dragon Ride was down for... More

Had a one year pass. The kids love it, but be prepared for a lot of kids in a relatively small area. Loud. Bring a book to read and let the kids run free and wild. They will want to come back again and again. More

Although I love Legos and enjoyed the California theme park, this is a VERY small attraction with not enough to do. We loved seeing the Chicago downtown hot spots, but there isn't much for kids to do and a limited number of attractions. Took us about 35 minutes to get here from Midway, but two hours to get back downtown... More

Dear Marian R., Thank you for your helpful review. Our LEGOLAND theme park in California is much different from our indoor attraction here in Chicago, we are only about 30,000 square feet. We apologize that you felt there was not enough to do, we are currently making many new improvements to the center and hope you will visit again in... More

I suppose it is a must-do if you have a Lego lover with you, but they need to do a lot more with the experience. They show some great Lego creations like the Chicago skyline. You see all of that. But some of the biggest time killers are the are where kids play with blocks and the gift shop. There's... More
