Now I regret not reading the reviews before my visit to legoland. Like many people is saying in 2013 no changes in 2014. The giraffe my girls made wasn't to keep it if they wanted them I had to pay 5 box each. I was expecting more Legos to play with and create but wow! only pieces that you can... More

My 3 year old grandson learned that Legos come in many sizes. He loved the rides and wore himself out in the play zone with levels of slides and climbs. He'll be back next year when his brother is 3.

Nice place for kids, but adult need to pay the same price as for a child to get in. Good thing is they offer 1 year membership for almost the same rate as one time pass. My niece loves this place.

Hi Marina, Thanks for writing about us on Trip Advisor! I think the annual pass is a great value for locals, so you can come with the kids whenever you want for a little playtime. I hope you guys can manage a trip during the middle of the week as that's when you typically have the place to yourselves! See... More

We went to visit Legoland with our 3 year old son on a recent trip. It is a fun spot to spend a little bit of time, with "little bit" being the key word. The place is not large and with only 5-6 attractions there isn't much wow factor. You start off by touring Lego Chicago which is neat for... More

Hi Peter, Thanks for writing on Trip Advisor. I'm sorry to hear that your experience wasn't quite as memorable as you'd hoped coming into the center. Typically we see guests staying an average of 2-3 hours, however those times certainly differ depending on what the kids like to do while inside. It sounds like the day you visited was one... More

Upon arrival, check in was slow. Only one person checking in the line of people. We had prepaid online and found a bogo deal thru McD's and still had to wait. Had our pic taken, but declined to buy it later. Also declined the legoland passport book for our girls, ages 5 & 7. Really cool Lego sculptures in the... More

Hey Andrea, Thanks for writing on TripAdvisor! Really glad to hear that the kids had fun and found our LEGO creations cool to look at. Our recommended visit time is anywhere between 2 and 3 hours to experience everything in the center, and that always depends on family size and type. Hope you had a great lunch and come visit... Legoland was lots of fun. We have 3 kids under 8 and they all really enjoyed it. The staff was all very friendly and helpful and seemed like they enjoyed being there. We went later in an afternoon on a weekday and it was definitely not crowded and we went wherever without any hassle.

Hey AJHarmann, Thanks for the review! Glad to hear you had a fantastic time with the family! Afternoons in general are a great time to visit, as many families choose the morning to visit the center. Happy to hear that we helped tire out all three of your kids as I bet it was a long drive home! Nick General... More

We visited Legoland with my grandson and he had a great time. But it was very crowded and the attraction was mediocre. The best part of this event is the movie. The rides are not entertaining even for a 7 year old. There is the opportunity to build and test a toy car, but there is not even an adequate... More

Hi Jane, I'm sorry to hear that your visit to LEGOLAND Discovery Center in Schaumburg wasn't up to your expectations. I'll agree that we've been quite busy during Spring Break this year, and we're working on managing our lines to get into the attraction as a direct result of the crowds we've seen in the past month. Additionally, I've spoken... More

Legoland is fun for lego enthusiasts, little ones or the young at heart. We got there right when they opened in the morning and pretty much had the place to ourselves for the first hour. I can't give it a 5 because of two reasons. After that hour it got very very crowded. We could still do all the activities,... More

Hello! Thanks for the review, and for travelling to us all the way from Milwaukee! You're absolutely right, getting here at opening is the best during our busy season as the attraction usually doesn't get busy until later on in the morning. As for the shop, I'm sorry to hear that things looked picked over. Spring Break is certainly busy,... More

We traveled to Chicago specifically to visit this place, and we were not disappointed. My son, grandson and I spent the entire day there for a very reasonable price ($16 for adults when bought online). It is similar to a mini Legoland because Legos built to resemble scenes from the Star Wars movies, for instance. There are many attractions to... More
