To pricey for what you don't get! You can wait in line or sign a waiting list for their hands on project. When completed if you want to keep it you have to purchase the Legos. Not enough too do for the money! Disappointed!

On our recent Chicago vacation we were not planning a Legoland Discovery Center visit but when our 3 boys found the brochure in the hotel lobby, we had no choice but to check it out. It was the most expensive attraction we went to (almost $100 for a family of 5). That being said, the boys LOVED it! It was... More

We took my 3 yo son there today. While he enjoyed it, my husband and i were disappointed. The cost is very disappointing. For something that is totally geared for kids, I have no problem paying the admission for my child, but not the same cost for the parents. Also, I feel I was mislead by purchasing tickets online. After... More

Hi April, Thanks for writing a review about our Center on TripAdvisor. While I'm happy to hear that your son enjoyed the visit, I'm disappointed to hear about the situation you faced while entering the attraction. We do recommend that guests buy their tickets online, especially during busy periods such as weekends to avoid waiting in any lines that may... More

Yes, it was expensive...but so is everything Lego. To me, my son's excitement was worth it. There is a silly ride that you have to pedal to make your bat-winged car go up, which is a great idea for some exercise rather than a sedentary ride. We especially liked the Lego jungle.

Went with a 7 and 9 year old to Legoland discovery center. We arrived right at 10 when they opened and did not even get into the activities for about 35 minutes! The staff was struggling to get everyone through the ticket counter and there were serious delays. While the kids enjoyed it, there were only 2 rides and a... More

My family really enjoyed this trip. My wife and I took our 2 year old. My daughter was free, but my wife and I had to pay $18 per person. After the sticker shock, we enjoyed ourselves. I think they should market to 5 and older for some of the attractions, because my daughter was not able to do some... More

Expensive. we had a good time but I thought this was over priced for what you get. My grandson played in the playland area which we could have done at any McDonalds for free. The 4d movie was fun. The snack bar/lunch are is extremely high priced. $8.00 for a basic turkey sandwich on white or wheat bread and $3.00... More

The price is a little high but we had a lot of fun. All the Lego statues/artworks were really cool and interesting to look at. I took my 7 year old son and a friend and we liked walking around and seeing the Chicago room and taking pictures so we could compare to the actual buildings when we went Sunday... More

The lego sculptures were fun to see, but where is the wall of legos to purchase? This place is way too small compared to other lego stores!

I was hesitant about Legoland after hearing negative things about it. We decided to try it anyway on a rainy day because our other options were limited. My four year old likes legos but isn't a giant lego fan. He did have a blast though. He enjoyed looking at the lego sculptures on the first floor but really enjoyed the... More
