Legoland in Schaumburg is a perfect morning or afternoon adventure. Don't expect to spend a lot of time. The exhibits created with Legos are amazing but seen quickly. We had a very tasty and reasonably priced lunch and then my grandson spent about forty five minutes building "stuff" to roll down a ramp. The creations fell apart half way down.... More

We had a wonderful visit - very busy with daycare groups, though. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. My 13 year old son (even thought I thought he would be too old for it) had a blast!

We took our fours kids ages from 2 years old to 17 years old and all of them had a blast. We went after 3pm so we could have a discounted tickets ($12 each) and it was worth it. And its better it you purchased your ticket on line so you don't have to wait for long time to get... More

Hi rnjhen, I'm so happy to hear that you and your family had a fabulous time at LEGOLAND Discovery Center - Chicago. Whenever I hear (or see!) parents have the opportunity to build with their kids at one of our many build tables it puts a pretty big smile on my face! After 3PM is a great time to visit,... More

We took our (3) small grandchildren and I don't think they really appreciated the whole thing for what it is. Unfortunately it was really crowded and we had to wait to get in. I was very disturbed that they immediately let in people that had purchased their tickets on line but for those of us who were buying them there... More

Took my 4 y/o for his birthday and he had a ball. We spent several hours there and it was worth the $12.

Our two small boys enjoyed putting legos together, playing in the playland. The rides were OK for how long we waited in line, but the kids enjoyed them, so we're happy! The boys were amazed at all the things you can make with legos (the batman lego man was a favorite), and could have played all day if we had... More

Been twice. Daughter enjoyed both visits. Take socks with you or buy some at the cafe inside. Both rides were fun. Not really anything new since we visited two years ago . It's cool for young ones. Older kids bored . Glad we went for the preschooler. Wish gift shop had more to offer. Would love to see this place... More

Took my sons 3 and 6 to Legoland, and we had a lot of fun. But I was a bit underwhelmed. There just was not a lot to it- and I wish it was a bit bigger- to feel like I really got my moneys worth. We were done in under 2 hours. The rides were both fun-- but they... More

Been to both Legoland in California and Legoland Discovery Center Chicago, I’ll say that Discovery Center is a miniature version of its bigger brother, but in an enclosed building, i.e. don’t have to worry about snow in the winter. This place got the workshop, 4-D movie, dragon and Harry Potter ride, and factory tour. Of course, the coolest part of... More

Hi Hwydave, Thanks for the detailed review on TripAdvisor! Lots of fantastic tips up there for future visitors to take advantage of, especially local visitors who may want to take advantage of an annual pass! The biggest advantage of being an indoor LEGO attraction has got to be that we beat bad weather all year long: heat, snow or rain!... More

This place is truly for lego fans, both kids and adults. Lots of interesting displays made totally of Legos as well as an exhibit on their manufacturing and a studio where an instructor guides you in the making if an item. Some kiddie rides available too. The best part is the large room in which there are buckets if keg... More

Hi Virginia, Thanks for posting a review on TripAdvisor! I love hearing that the adults in your party were building right along side the kids! We've put even more dedicated building tables into the "hub" of the center so everyone has a chance to build together, and our creative challenges get our guests (young and old!) really creative in the...
