What a pretty boat. ..I don't do boats very well and would never have chosen to do this but glad my hubby booked for me and our friends. Our skipper Jenks and hostess Helen made it a lovely trip. They have made the boat beautiful. Helen gave us some interesting facts about the boat, Kennet & Avon canal and some... More

We opted for the 2 hour cruise to the aqueduct and back for my husband's big 50. The whole experience was faultless and lovely. The champagne went down a treat as we glided through the canal, the cream tea was marvellous. We had a couple of rain showers but we never even noticed s under the awning it was perfectly... More

Helen and Jenkyn Knill were a delight. With Jenkyn at the helm and Helen manning the two of us, the rain let up as we boarded for an informative and relaxing journey. Oh, and right on que, Helen served champagne and a small ribboned box. Linda believed it to be chocolates but instead it was an honest to goodness ring... More

During our stay in Bath my wife caught me by complete surprise planning what turned out to be an unforgettable canal cruise on the Lady Lena. Impeccable boat (rightly called King of the canal by many people on bypassed vessels) run by a charming couple. The champagne and the afternoon tea was equally as perfect as the glorious summer day... More

We booked the Lady Lena as a romantic cruise on the canels for two. It turned out to be better than expected. We were served champaign and scones as we cruised the canel. Helen told us many historical stories about the area. This is truly a special trip with special people.

This was a perfect way to celebrate our friend's birthday. We took our own (gourmet) picnic but I believe it is possible to purchase food via the Knills. Helen had beautiful china and glass ware to hand, and we enjoyed our lazy day, moving at a gentle rate along the canal until we found a lovely place to stop at... More

I had booked this trip as a treat for my husband on our wedding anniversary, as he loves boats and canals and this combined the two beautifully! Our host Jenkyn and his two helpers, Julia and Kamil, were so attentive and welcoming. On boarding this lovingly restored vessel, we were settled into the comfy cushions sipping our champagne as the... More

My wife and I went on the lovely Lady Lena boat today, and we were very impressed with the style of the boat and the comfort on board. Champagne was promptly served, and the noiseless boat floated down the canal in beautiful sunshine. It was so peaceful and romantic- onlookers on the canal looked envious! After an hour cream tea... Wonderful way to experience Bath. Tranquil, relaxing, peaceful journey. Fabulously restored boat, great hospitality and the cream teas are amazing. Will definitely be retiring. A 'must do' if travelling to Bath .
