love this theater, been coming for several years, just saw this production of the kids version of the "Legend of Sleepy Hollow" so wonderful, such talent these young people have. keep up the good work and fine entertainment! love the feel of this theater every time I come, it is so small and intimate and has an "old fashioned" feel.... This theater is so small, you would never believe it until you see it... Three and a half rows of seats! The actors are no more than a few feet away from you - so, you can see each and every grimace they make. Family atmosphere! Loved it.

The theater itself leaves you wondering what you have stepped in to, but the quality of the shows are outstanding. And it is a very very small venue, so there are no bad seats. It was a great evening.

You are right up in the production. With only 4 rows of seating, very comfortable by the way, you get right up in the production. Its unlike any theater experience you have had before. The play wasy great and acting was sharp. I will get season tickets.

We have been going to Steele Beam a few years. This is a local theater that puts on 6-7 plays in a year, with good variety to choose from. The theater is small and intimate. I especially enjoy the musicals that they perform. It is just amazing how many talented folks there are in the area and the professional quality... More

Not a bad seat in the house. Wonderful space just steps away from local eateries with delish dishes and fab wine lists.

Very cozy venue. You are right up front with the professional performers. Grab a beverage(adult available), sit back and enjoy great local theater in a tremendous , vibrant area on the Fox River.

Kind of small and cramped, but it kind of adds to the atmosphere. If you have kids, bring them to one of the kid productions - they'll love it.

I enjoy writing Tripadvisor reviews, and have no affiliation with the Steel Beam Theatre, located on Route 64 in downtown St Charles. The theater was founded in 2001 by Donna Steel, and my wife and I—sometimes with friends, often alone—have attended seven performances there. There is a new play about every other month. Parking is plentiful in the city garage... More
