water park tickets not included in the price

I was shocked when they told me it would be another $100 to get into the water park. Last time we went there it was included. The water park was very crowded because anyone can... read more

Drove three hours to take my two children on our first spring brake vacation . This place is awful Online says open at 10 When I check in the receptionist tells me it's noon. So I check out at 11 and what sit in the ancient lobby for a hour waiting for the s*** hole to open? Bathrooms where so... More

Based on previous reviews, we were expecting a dump. We used a groupon, so it was only $20 for each of us, and that's what it was worth. I heard they raised the price for spring break and weren't allowing spectator bands, so it seemed like there was a really nice crowd of people visiting. We had no problems with... More

Where to start... Icy cold water in all areas, cold air temp, filthy bathrooms, no room to sit or change in the locker rooms, one broken and one cold hot tub which had dirty used gloves laying next to it, the list goes on and on. Unfortunately I didn't read the reviews until after I purchased my Groupon. My mistake... More

COLD water in the ONE (of two) "hot tubs". And no one under 15 allowed, despite the fact one is busted. Approximately 10-12 tubes for the ENTIRE lazy river. More like a lazy WALK. When I spoke to the general manager he pointed the finger at his supplier. Who cares!? You know it's spring break season. Should have been prepared.... More

This place is a waste of money and poorly maintained. Very tight quarters, only one bench in locker room, locker room itself was disgusting, people eating in the pool and the staff didn't care, garbages overflowing, no toilet paper all day. So bad my kids even asked to leave

I was shocked when they told me it would be another $100 to get into the water park. Last time we went there it was included. The water park was very crowded because anyone can come in and swim. They don't have to stay at the hotel, and it was not worth any hundred dollars! Also they do give kids... More

Lifeguards were around, but not monitoring all areas. Kinda scary when you have swimmers of all ages and abilities in the water. Too many people in some areas for safety levels. The "pool" water was cold. The viewing areas are limited and not kept clean. Tables never cleared of others food and drinks. Food stand under-staffed for the long lines... More

If you live near Rockford & want something to do it's ok. Using the word "resort" is laughable. I certainly wouldn't drive hours to go here. Probably the best time to go is in the summer when everyone else is @ Magic Waters. We've been here 3x and that's enough for me. 1st visit (maybe a year after it opened)... More

I was very nervous after reading all of the negative reviews on here. I am glad we went despite them. The kids had a blast! Water was perfect-plenty to do- staff was freindly. I will definitely go again

First off, I have noticed that after reading reviews of the WATER PARK, i felt skeptical. I also had noticed that so many people have wrote terrible reviews for hotel service and not reviews for the water park. Let me get this clear to people, DO NOT MAKE REVIEWS FOR THE HOTEL, THIS IS THE WATER PARK, NOT THE HOTEL!!... More
