Outside beautiful. The historical society has been trying for years to make it great but its just a disappointment. There's a mediocre story behind it but its not beautifully set up to the period and parts.of it aren't open to.the public. It's sad, it has potential just not the resources. Don't drive for hours if you expect grandeur. More

The outside of the castle very nice and in amazing shape. What I thought was interesting was the structure of the castle both in and out. What I was disappointed in was that pretty much everything inside has been modernized to look old which is pretty much because the castle was luted. Interesting for one time but I won't go... More

Villa Katherine was a great place to visit. Its location on the Mississippi provides a beautiful lookout point. A Great place to have a wedding reception! More

I visited Quincy with my family for a family reunion. While there, we went to the Villa Katharine. It was beautiful! We toured it and learned a lot about it and its former owner, George Mets. The Mediterranean architecture was beautiful. However, I wouldn't recommended taking children beacuse the tour could be boring for them. More
