I Googled "romantic valentine weekend in Quincy, IL" and this Villa Katherine Castle was the first thing to pop up. While it is beautiful and ornate, by scale it is no castle! Villa Katherine was a great place to visit. Its location on the Mississippi provides a beautiful lookout point. A Great place to have a wedding reception! more

I visited Quincy with my family for a family reunion. While there, we went to the Villa Katharine. It was beautiful! We toured it and learned a lot about it and its former owner, George Mets. The Mediterranean architecture was beautiful. However, I wouldn't recommended taking children beacuse the tour could be boring for them. more
