Pontiac Museum

Since I have owned several Pontiacs in my 50+ years of driving and I was in the neighborhood, I though I'd stop in. There was one Pontiac on display and I knew the owner.

Most awesome museum I've ever been to! Can't say enough about this place, it's a must visit. Tim and Penny are the Best! The town is also a great stop along Route 66!

This is a nice museum for car lovers, especially Pontiac lovers. I had never heard of the Oakland, but they had one. It was originally made in Pontiac, IL, The owner is very knowledgeable and can quote facts about all the cars. The museum is clean and all the cars are polished. The collection changes out every once in a... More

Small but worth the stop. Nice short walk from the Route 66 museum, such a neat little downtown with a trolley. The museum is so clean and the staff was so kind. The cars on display are neat to see, definitely a walk back in time.

NIce and clean museum. It doesn't cost anything, unless you donate. It was very small, maybe 20 cars. It took about 10 minutes to walk through and see everything. The volunteer told me that the cars change every so often. I will have to stop in again the next time I'm in Pontiac.

We appreciate that you stopped in and visited our museum. We understand that we do not have the biggest facility, but this is what the budget currently allows us to have. In the space that the museum allows, we have focused on quality rather than quantity. Although, we have much more Pontiac memorabilia and vehicles than we can show, visitors... More

Tim and Penny Dye are gracious hosts. Have been at the museum about four times and thoroughly enjoyed them all. Tim tries to keep the museum as a work in progress and rotates cars in and out and changes up the displays. He's one of the foremost authorities on Poniacs ananda Oaklands. A must stop along IL Route66!
