I don't think it's worth the money, for what you pay it's a very short experience. And when they have special exhibits you have to pay for the admission to see the special exhibit

When my family and I visited, the museum had the Ripley's Believe it or Not exhibit, which was really fascinating! Apart from that exhibit, the museum also contains exhibits concerning the history of Peoria and the area etc. So, it seems the museum is more focused on local history over other things, which is fine. They also had a nice... More

Wanted to love this place, but couldn't even when I tried. This is a new museum, and I don't think the curators have found out what they want it to be. A new museum should be on the cutting edge, this one is not. Boring displays, a lot of reading, very little interaction. If you want a fun museum, drive... More

I visited there with my daughter and we had a really good time. We was there when the Ripleys Believe it or not exhibit was there, and it was good.

The Riverfront Museum has so much to offer. I'm excited to come back and visit as changes continue to take place!

I am from Peoria, so I knew a little bit about what to expect from this museum. The city of Peoria went through a lot trying to get this built, but it is a huge disappointment to me. First of all, the price of admission is extremely high. I was lucky enough to visit here on 3 occasions not paying... More

I prolly should give this another go, i stooped by there about a month after they opened and half of the exhibits were not there or open. The kids section with the activities was pretty cool, but overall was not worth what i paid to get into there.

We finally decided that we would see what the new museum was like. We live in Peoria but even with our discount it was $51. I would't think that price was bad if there was more to see when you were there but honestly it is overpriced for what there is to see and do. There is a huge interactive... More

The museum is downtown on the waterfront. It shares an underground parking garage with the Caterpillar Museum. This makes it very convenient to visit both museums. My daughters had a great time at the many exhibits. The museum would be good for the entire family as there is fun for all ages.

Finally went to visit Peoria Riverfront Museum. Since I was doing Laser Light show on Friday night and taking my sister to museum on Saturday. Went ahead and got a membership as it is now half paid for just by those two days. Spent two hours in museum. Went to Dome (planetarium) 25 minute show which was very interesting. The... More
